well, first off, im typing with one hand due to my accident lol.

So there i am, bocking away and i think to myself i want to try a combo. Its all going well, im doing my 4th attempt. I do a split kick, then that side split kick (well, my version of it  Grin ) and then it happens. Im doing my third move of the combo, a double back scratcher, and i dont quite land it. Im bringing my legs down to land and they dont uncurl quick enough. I bounce forward and try to regain my balance. It didnt work, i fell over and scraped my wrist guard. Im thinking im gonna be lucky but then the wrist guard keeps sliding right into the curb. My fingers are mashed up like hell Sad 'Luckily' they are only severely bruised. pah, that aint lucky, i cant go on my bocks for a week. Shocked i think i may die of boredom lol

Anyway, thats my nice injury story with a moral... Wrist guards dont save your fingers!!!

Joe

p.s. sorry, no piccys, i forgot to take any, usually my first thought i when i hurt myself, pah, im slacking lol

aww, this is why you shouldn't try new tricks near kerbs kiddies Tongue
...i usually use the park, or other open grassy areas for new things, and only do stuff on concrete that i know i can, and prod the boundaries gently instead of smash them with a hammer.

...but get well soon, and shame there's no pictures, we love to see bloody bruised appendages on here

It's Troy Hurtubise!  w00t!

He got attacked by a Kodiak bear once, and made the bear-proof suit.  He's for real.  A little crazy, but if everyone was normal nobody would have been crazy enough to try and control fire or sharpen rocks for spearheads.

Wrist guards don't save a lot of things.

You ran into some particularly bad luck though Sad
