Im getting my PR90120 this weekend or early next week, so what is the best material to use for hoofies? i can get a hold of used drifting tires as a mate of a mate is a drifter and goes through like 20 pairs of tires a year Wink  the drifting tires are softer than normal tires, but would it be suited for a hoofy since its used so badly they wont hold a car? (yes i know bocks aint cars), but wud they be good enough?

Good luck cutting through the tire, but if you can do it, they will work very nicely.  Use super glue or something like it.

And only one of those few lives in Hampton.  ARGH!  I want a buddy.
Might be getting one soon, though...

buy 7league boot hoofs and you do not need an additional protection anymore. They are as good as car tires.

i've been looking at bocks for a while now...its my birthday today and i've got £145 already! and i've got £750 in bank that i've been saving...ur probably thinking tht u easrn it in a week but u have to remember i'm 13 and thats a lot of money to me....anyway to the point...

I think i would probably get these:
7 League's Raptors type evo2 (£258)
Bike innertube (£5-15)
Childs bike tire (£10-20)
Hockey tape (£10-25)

So thats aprox...£283-£318

F*** thats one **** of a lot of money...thats the problem

If your getting the 7leagues then you won't need the inner tube, bike tyre or hockey tape. This is because the spring protection is a lot thicker and provides adequate protection, the hoofs also are a lot better wearing and therefore you don't really need the tiresock.

However you will need to add pads to your price list, knee and wrist pads are essential.

Where abouts are you from, there may be a group local to you

well heres what i spent:
£130 pro jumps
£0 bike tyre in ditch for inner tube and tyre
£0 to raise footplate (used old flipflops, a bit of wood and some newspaper Cheesy)
£0 for duct tape i already had. (btw why spend £10-25 on hocky tape when u can spend £5 on duct tape?)
£0 for foam around the knee bar
well you get the point

I've just had a quick bounce on my new S-rex  Smiley
I had my PJ's 110's for a year and always put sox on them  Undecided
I know the new hoofs last much longger but it took only ten days to wear down the metal on one and put an hole in the other. I patched them up with bits of rubber and I'm still using them now  Shocked

But don't you think sox ( off road tires ) would be worth putting on them !?

There's very little point in putting tier socks on 7's DK. Although for off road use like grass the studdies i think are a brilliant idea. I normally get about 6-8 months life span for 7's feet with quiet heavy use. So i just don't think its worth going to the trouble plus IMHO it makes them look a bit untidy.. Wink
