Sorry for the double post, but I've had a second brain wave, I've noticed when on the forums, when there is a link, you  click on it and it opens up a different window or tab, whatever you want to call it. But when you click on some of the recent posts, you stay in the same window and go to that part. So how about when in the chat, when you click on anything outside of the chat, it opens up a different window/tab. I've been in the chat and accidentaly hit something and it took me out of the chat and had to go back in. Im sure a few others have had this problem too. Just a small suggestion.

I've done that a few times too.  I learnt pretty quick to exorcise the the middle mouse button on links after that.

Hey I don't know if this is my email program's fault but when I get a notification in my email about a new post on a topic.  There's 2 links one is "View the reply at" bla bla bla  and the other is to Unsubscribe. The Unsubscribe is an click able link but the one to read the reply is not click able.  So that means it takes 3 more steps(highlight, copy, open browser, open tab, paste, enter, wait) to look at the post instead of one easy simple relaxing click.

Maybe it's a hotmail thing?  It's also un click able through the web interface.

Maybe it's a PoweriserPages thing?

I just switched which email service I use with Poweriserpages and it fixed the unclickable link in the email.  I had hotmail now I use my gmail.  So it was something with hotmail that was not happy with it.

can that be made default link instead of having the chat inside the forum.... or have that link somewhere for people who might want it

Hey, nothing to do with any of the other ideas Smiley

But i think we should have something under our display picture which tells people roughly how long we have been bocking for, or maybe says when we started bocking. This is so that we can tell the pro's from the beginners Smiley

Thanks

That also sounds somewhat elitist. I don't know if it would be a good idea to polarize this forum.

Maybe a more discrete way to do it would be to create a template that allows them to state when they started in their introduction thread, then the thread could be linked to their profile. More things could be said in such a template, things to let people know the person i.e. favorite movie (not that great, but its an example).

Why not just look at the date people signed up? Most people signing up here have bocks now.

This site is very hot, I'm learning very fast, thanks everybody! Only one thing's missing. We cannot search for members by location! I'm alone in here (Quebec, Canada) doing this. If I can search member by location, I can find the nearest buckers from my home and try practice with them, can be very usefull! Thanks in advance for considering this proposal,

Guillaume
