I seem to have found a new brand, they have features that do not match up with anything I've ever seen before, even the color scheme is unique.  Too expensive to rationally be Skyrunners, notorious as they are for deception, especially given that the pro version's footplate does not tilt.

I don't really know what to make of them.  They have some stolen videos on Youtube, but the pictures look legit and they have some bindings unlike anything else.  They even bothered to hire an artist to draw some pictures.

Do we have another high-quality brand, cheap ripoffs, both depending on the model, or another intermediate brand?

from just the looks of this, it looks mostly like a Zer, or a inbetween of a Ser and Zer, the bindings look the same as normal, the protective bit on the spring looks like just another color with a logo slapped on. Would like to know what the black hooves are all about though...

edit: also, i do see the new strap now, looks like a cross between the cuffs and the bar, now with double the pain to get on! I may just call em up and say, give me a demo pair, I'm experenced and all, gimme.

The teen version is exactly the same as the Air-trekkers version but the adult advanced is a cross between the calf cuff and a bar it does look like?

It looks like the calf bar is actually kinda good looking but those are pretty exspensive if I get them for free that would be awesome but know way I  would spend that much money on those. It is kinda funny that when you click on the stilts unstead of coming up with a larger same picture it comes up with this. link removed due to request from patent holder. I also figured out the people that atleast own the sight Aircotec make like hang gliders and flying instruments so I dont know if you really want to buy from them I cant even understand most the website because of german.

(gold, there should've been a select language link at the bottom of the initial splash screen, took me a couple of minutes to find)

umm all i can say is weird, it's like a FL stilt, but with upgrades, the knee thing looks like they've just copied the mod where you use a foot binding there, and it looks like they added some decent looking bearings and other things.

...if they're using hang glider parts i'd trust them more personally, as those parts should be of a half decent quality, though they probably weren't designed for the kindof forces taken while bocking, meh someone get a pair of the pros and test them out, then take them apart down to the smallest component and work out from te bottom up what they are XD

edit: 'With composite springs as used in the FunRiser, a spring failure is not possible!'
ok thats just an invitation to have a go now, someone get ordering a pair!

Yeah this is very interesting, the normal model looks exactly like the older generation FL models just with pink/red coloured shrink wrap on the springs.

However the Pro model is very interesting:
1) The part that holds the knee bar looks completly redesigned, never seen anything like it before on any other brand of stilts.

2) I've never seen this part looking like this:

3) By the looks of that they have added a big pad to the velcro strap to try and make it look better and probably improve comfort:

4) The last thing thats throwing me off is the little rubber stoppers ontop of the hoof, similar to the Upwings design but there are two and also one where all other brands have them:

Also in the gallery there is not one real photo showing the FunRiser Pro's being used :/

Interesting... What I don't like on them is the ball bearings, I have a feeling they might not cope with the way the bocks work... I know someone tried it before and it didn't appear to work that well. Just worried they might explode everywhere as you're bounding along Undecided

Who wants to order a pair?

I've sent them an email asking a few questions including about any warranty they have and why there aren't any photos of the Pro model in the gallery.

So i'm eagerly waiting for a reply  Cheesy

Coupla other things i noticed, depending if they are FL springs or not, the weight ranges go up to 120-129Kg, could just be me, but looks like the whloe hoof is seriously more heavy duty, and they have completely redesigned the knee cuff thing obviously, tbh, they look quite nice, depends on quality of parts spring etc though, the pro version is about £385 though...seems if its worth the money, these are then between 7's and skips...?

Last thing that i've seen, check out the bearings...

Its just a standard knee bar with an added bit of padding on the back over the velcro, I don't see anything completly redesigned. Just slightly modified  Smiley

It says every pro is assembled by hand?  Sounds to me then like they are basically the basic FL stilts but then the pros have mods done to them by that company, like the kneebar and ball-bearings etc Smiley.

Agreed, the guy at the back has no shadow and the girl with her belly hanging out is too crisp around the edges.
