Stilwalker and Bocker!

Hey peeps

Just a quick question, im only just within the weight border of my 50-70's (as in, im really light) but if i'd have got the kids ones i'd have been right at the top, and probably grown out of them quickly

I have troubly getting a lot of height coz i dont compress the srpings much, and id love to lear to do backflips but i think this might be a bti of an obstacle!

Did anyone else have this problem? And if so, how did you solve it?

Thanks!
xx

you will learn to get more height after some more practice. Becky on here used to use 90kg stilts when she was under 60kgs, and could bounce really high on them. Plus I know many others who use stilts designed for people above their weight range (myself included).

You will be fine with the ones u have, plus still no-one (to my knowledge) has done any flips on the kids ones, although i know some people ahve tried and found it too hard so that would have held u back learning flips more.

Definitely stay with the 5070s, baby_xtina.  The springs will soften up some with use and you will get good height out of them.  Give it some time.  Best way to start softening up the springs is to hold onto a pole to keep your balance and start jumping.

well......i have AirRunners CZ70's
which is 70kg-80kg i think

and i am only 55kg

and i can bounce fine

....i think it all depends on overall strength (core and legs)
to depend on how well you can compress the springs....

other than that it will just take time to weaken the carbon fibre (thats what they r made from i think)

until then.....its some hard core bouncing for you!

well I think you will be fine (if they are new you need to wear the springs in a bit) bounce holding on to a pole like some1 said. This will really tire you out and make you sweat buckets but will make it easier for you to bounce, as your technique will be better and the spring will be looser.

Stick with the 5070's. I learnt on 5070's and had them for a year before moving on to my raptors, and at the start I wasn't jumping high at all (less than 1ft), but by the time I moved onto my Raptors I could jump pretty high on the 5070's Smiley
