I think Smurf must have thought that it was projump man posting instead of the flyjumper man  Tongue

Yeah it was - Jeez I'm being really blond at the mo - think I need more sleep.
My Sincere appologies to the Pro-jump guy Smiley
Hope you forgive me I'm just getting a bit tired of all the advertising that seems to be going on here at the mo - as soon as anyone asks for advice they get a sales pitch.....

It's cool – You’re forgiven!

I know what you mean regarding the advertising and how it may be annoying at times, but if the saying’s correct in this context, I feel like “I'm between a rock and a hard place!”

Simply because I know some of our stuff is great for using with stilts and reasonably priced as suggested by another user on this thread. However I do sense that every time I’m trying to suggest something I’m getting told off for advertising (to be honest I’ve not made many posts yet so can’t have done that much self promoting!) on the other hand if I was just signed on using my own name and not the company name and giving links I wouldn’t be told off by members and would probably get thanked for the links / suggestions instead!

yeah I suppose it's tough - I must say that I've heard only good things about your company though... it was really the flyjumper store I was annoyed with. they jumped on the other thread without really giving any advise - just trying to sell their products - which don't even seem that good in my opinion...  if you've read the thread and my questions I'm sure you'll see what I mean.
I have pro-jumps myself though I didn't buy them from you..... in fact I'm gonna PM you about that....
I have to say that apart from the bindings I have been very impressed so far with the quality of your bocks - I was a complete newbie when I bought them and was a bit nervous to say the least when I decided to get some - there were a lot of scare stories around at the time of  cheaper brands and it all seemed rather confusing for someone who knew nothing about them - I think it still does to a certain extent.....

I'm going to put myself up for crucifixion here and say:
I play rugby without pads. (With the exception of a mouth guard). That's a dangerous sport!

When you don't fall pads can be a pain in the ass, but when you do I've never found the knee or elbow pads to help much. As with all this falling mentality stuff, complete rubbish. As long as you know your limits you don't need to fall! It didn't help me at all, infact it set me back two months. As long as you haven't been wrapped in cotton wool all your life you'll be fine.

Yeah I always suggest people wear helmets and pads but when it comes down to it everyone can make up their own mind. It's obvious this sport can be dangerous and anyone at anytime can have an off-balance moment and smash their skull into concrete or metal. I've been niave enough to do it and slipped on a tree and got away with a nasty cut on my forehead...2 days later I was climbing on some wet rocks with no helmet on again. I know I'm stupid for doing it, as does everyone who doesn't wear pads but it's their own choice.

I would like Flybaby to stop stalking me, but that's not going to happen either.

who wears pads for rugby O2? Cheesy  But I fo agree, I think that the only really vital thing for everyday bocking is wrist protection which doesn't look bad at all if thats what you are worried about.  I do wear all my stuff though, you never know.
