Thats nice taping:D A tips, always keep some more tape because when you fall, you may rip the knee padding(I did that a few times).

Also tape those points where I have drawn on your picture. You easily smash them in to the springs or at least I did.

Hey, Frenchy, here's a link to a website with TONS of different kinds of tape in all different colors. Your best bet (bright pink) would be in the duct tape section. THEY.....HAVE.........FLOURESCENT PINK!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh No Frenchy you found the site!!

I'll chat to you about Pink tape tonight but yeah that Identi-tape site looks great. Me Luke and Mark were going to put a decent order in as it needs to br over $100 for UK shipping.

I'll keep an eye out on other websites too, I think I've got one in mind already actually....

Just a quick note regarding an earlier post...    I wasn't the one who came up with the inner tube over the spring idea -- just the tiresocks.  Actually, the inner tube idea came from a guy named Ray in New York City.  Great idea.  The only minor downside is that you have to unbolt the spring in order to slip the rubber innertube over it.  But it probably gives you the best level of spring protection.  (You can find the inner tube tip on the PowerBockResources.com website).

I'm not sure about the different brands.  My powerisers came with a very thin rubber-like protective coating, but it really isn't enough to protect the springs from impacts.  It's best to put additional layers of protection on them.

Take care of your springs.  Without them, you're only human.

taping the spring not only protects the spring, but offers a chance to put a lot of creativity into them and designs...taping is one of the first things you should do when you get you

I don't see why you can't cut them along the length of the inner tube, place them against your springs and then tape them up with a layer or two of tape.  It will make the inner tube fit more snug and will save having to take them apart.  I'm going to try this when my riser's are delivered.

Nice idea Tundrah...

I have to admit I have yet to tape my springs, although I only have a few nicks, none of them serious Embarrassed
I need to find somewhere nearby that sells hockey tape... All the sports shops that i've enquired in don't sell it as there's "not a high demand for it" Angry
