Still can't do it, I think I've almost got the right technique but still can't seem get up without grabbing on to something.

I find it very awkward just kneeling in them. Are you supposed to balance on your knees and toes?

I'd like to stress that its vital you learn how to get up un-aided.

Seriosuly, everyone should spend at least half an hour getting up, grounding, getting up, grounding and so on and so on. If you do it enough in practice when you're in the street and need to do it I've found it does carry a nice "WOW" Factor as everyone things you'll need help. Its not uncommon to have people offering to help you up I've also found.

I think this is most important bit in slowmo.  Wink

Right leg almost upright with right arm in front of knee holding on to side of footrest. Left knee slightly raised with left hand supporting on the floor. Then finally throw your body upward as you let go with your right hand, lefting your left leg up and straightening.

Right I think I've got the theory. Wink

I don't like to fail, but this occasion I'll have to admit defeat, I'm just not physically capable.  I don't have the strength or the flexablility.

If I fall and having nothing to pull myself up on, I'll just have to take  them off. Alternatively just never fall again.  Wink

Are we all doing our training boys and girls? Any vids?

Just so you know, it can take 5 or 6 failed attempts but when you get it right the first time its all good from there. Trust me, I know.
