O2 well I saw a prototype back in mid May ( Im under the weight so didnt bother trying them). They were being used by a German called Chriz . He is in a video that Martin posted, quite possibly on said prototype ( I didnt think to look to be honest). He is definatly doing a flip on them in Zackis' 'Memories of Mallorca' vid. So yes the prototypes have been in test for some time. It also seems Pro Jump have been doing pretty much the same with their new model and not releasing till they are totally happy ( see the Springs Graveyard thread)

The prototype hasn't been proven over long times so unless someone has them for a couple months it means nothing, because as you said, it is peoples experiences that really counts.
I know a couple of serious bockers which are NOT vendors or the like who got them after Palma de Mallorca and use them since then. So you can be sure that they are tested intensly by very good bockers.

(some of these bockers are active on this forum but since it is a prototype test they are not allowed to reveal details of the testing).

By the way I have already tested them also but only for an hour in Palma. In my personal opinion they are very good I would even risk to say they are better than Powerskips, but to be confident about this statement I would have to test them longer, what I will do soon.  Grin Grin

It didn't hurt but i only just made the jump as I only had one spring propelling me.  This spring did not give me any warning which was very strange, they normally make a cracking noise quite a bit before they actually break.  The only thing is that this was BmthBlokes RiSer's but I will be getting them fixed up for him.

@ Trip Master, I have just ordered a lovely pair of Powerskips.  They're a birthday pressie to myself, a month early.  So I may not be breaking any carbon springs for a little while, at least until my upwings turn up.

I reccon the last ultimate test should be --give a pair to tundraH   and see if they survive a weekend with him in bournemouth ( yep he broke another spring this weekend - oh and sheered a hoof clear off)
Lol thanks Q, nice idea but I don't think Mr 7 leagues would like me to be breaking any of his S-rex's.

I'd just like to add that I don't go on a mission to break mine or anyone elses Bocks, it just happens.  I don't know if it is bad luck or me putting too much effort into my jumping. lol
