Since I do not have the time to modify the Upwings to my short stature (5'6), I must sell them and hopefully buy a different brand some other time.
I'm willing to part with them for $300 USD, + shipping (coming from Canada). This is the 60kg model.

DO NOT BUY THESE FROM ME IF YOU ARE UNDER 5'7 FEET IN HEIGHT AS THE BACK OF THE KNEE WILL HIT THE CALF PROTECTOR! (Or you have the time/equipment to modify the length of the connection pipe)

They have only been used about 10 times, so it's in excellent condition except for the "stocking" around the spring that is slightly torn and the pads are a bit worn down from boking on grass/streets. No modifications have been done. Otherwise these are very sexy looking bocks Grin

Comes in box with carrying bag, manual (very well written, suprising for a chinese manufacture) with exploded view of Upwing for those crazy modders, and those ugly pads that stick to the calf protector that everyone removes, nicely built Smiley

If you're interested please tell me in this thread. I will answer questions as best as I can.

Why not use a flip flop on the foot plate to raise your foot height ?

It really wouldn't help, I've looked into platform boots etc, they all reduce my balance in some way. The closest thing that came to working were military boots but the time spent tieing them up was not worth it Wink

I don't want to start a war, but you can't run quick without bending your leg more than 90 degrees, and if I do, it hits a bar that would make anyone loose balance Tongue

Hey since you have them, could you put up some more design-based pictures?  We all wanna know how the hell it doesn't break at the heel, how the drilled spring works out, how the footplate works, etc.  It's a little off-topic, but information on upwings is scarce and they're very interesting and strange.  It's a burning question to me, at least, and probably more than half of everyone else here.

I might direct my sister to your offer, but is 60kg the minimum, maximum, or middle of the range?

DO NOT BUY THESE FROM ME IF YOU ARE UNDER 5'7 FEET IN HEIGHT AS THE BACK OF THE KNEE WILL HIT THE CALF PROTECTOR!

interesting, I'm also 5'6"ish and i hadn't noticed this flaw in my test run of them, but i didn't do any tucks or hard running so it makes sense that i didn't notice.

How much are upwing new?  and do they sell springs to the US? and one more question where can i find the springs to upgrade incase i wanna wearem ;P

theoretically new they'd be like 450-500

you can't get the spring, they don't sell upwings in the US yet, once they do finally come out you would be able to get new ones and/or upgrade

is 60kg the minimum, maximum, or middle of the range?

a cz60 spring is reccomended for 50-60kg, so as we go 40-50kg

===============
done answering questions
if these were for a higher weight i'd want them, but oh well, someone else will enjoy them.
