Well not too expensive (would below £200 be possible?), where you'd recommend I got them from, I am about 10 stone last time I looked!, though I noticed they do it in kg.  I am in Hampshire if that helps at all

I think the best option for a beginner as far as value-performance is concerned is the poweriSer 2007/08 with calf-cuff with an appropriate spring weight.

If i was alot lighter than i am id have gone that route for my first pair! just dont make an impulse buy with these things, do a bit of reading before buying and if you want alot more info from the (very helpful friendly awesome stupidly-fantastic) experienced bockers on this forum post your wieght, fitness level, and intended use (casual, extreme etc.)

Good luck!

<edit> and i refer you to HERE if you havent taken a gander already Smiley

If your willing to spend 40 more then you can get yourself some 7 league boots.
http://www.7leagueslondon.co.uk/shop/products.asp?id=95&Cat=7LEAGUE+BOOTS&SubCat=7LEAGUE+BOOTS&SubCatID=59
http://shop1.actinicexpress.co.uk/shops/SEVENS_STORE/index.php?cat=7_League_boots_i_Pro__i_&ActinicSID=5d3b5409bbdb7e1ab09e001dfbb68cd3
(Both 7s, someone show which is better.)

Otherwise you can get the poweriser 08s for 200.
http://www.skatehut.co.uk/acatalog/Adult_Powerisers_2008__199.95_.html

If you want to go cheaper, you can go projump for 135.
http://www.pro-jump.co.uk/pp/Buy-ProJump-Stilts/Adult-ProJump-Stilts.html

If your staying with your 200, go strait for Poweriser 2008s/07s, they are good quality. With bocks you get what you pay for, you'll like them a lot so i wouldn't worry about putting to much money in.

I agree with TraXeH, PR2007's would be your best bet, I believe they are currently 199 and available at skatehut.co.uk at that price.

If you're on a tight budget you can get pro-jump stilts (Same as PoweriZer/FlyingJumper) for 135 from www.pro-jump.co.uk, but these lack the advanced bindings and calf cuffs found on the PR2007's. However, they are still good for beginners, there used to be problems with them but they appear to be all sorted now and lasting well Smiley
10 stone is 64kg, so I'd recommend you get the PR7090's (70-90kg) or Pro-Jump M80's (70-80kg).

As you're in Hampshire, if you want to pop along to a Jurassic Jumpers meet in Bournemouth, you're more than welcome to come and look at the different brands and try out a pair too.
Just check out www.jurassicjumpers.co.uk/forum for our latest meets (The next is this Sunday at the David English Sports Centre in Bournemouth)
