Thanks XS,

I think i'll probably go for fast learning, after all, i can always replace the springs later on.

I only recommend upsizing if you're within 2kg of the borderline... for example if you're right at 150 lbs (68kg) go with the 7090s.  It will take some time to master the jumps but you won't be bottoming out.  If you were 145lbs, you would be better off learning with the the 5070s as the stiffer springs would be too hard to compress.  As XS Says, if you find yourself going big and bottoming out you can always upgrade the springs, which wear out eventually anyways.

hi my son is 9 and weighs about 5 stone, he wants fly jumpers for christmas, could anyone advise me on what would be the best jumpers to purchase for him,he is quite atheletic and has a trampoline that he is never off if that makes adifferencewould be grateful for any help thanks

A quick note on quality, I myself own the Poweriser Kids F60 and I weigh about 97 pounds I am an adult at 35 years old and about 5 foot 4 inches, the reason for me to have or use Kids stilts is first off I now sell the stilts, and wanted a set to let other try , and I also was wondering about how well they are made, I found after 6 months of tryouts and I have used the Kids set myself and at my weight I can bottom the hard which is when you either are too heavy or to strong for the springs and can push them to the max they will go, Good news is the stilts are well made and I have yet to break a spring on the set I own, I at one time even had a buddy of mine who wanted to try them just to see how they were, also  an adult ((NOT Recommended)) he was almost 1 and a half the limit and weighed in at 180 pounds he jumped on them bottomed very hard and nothing broke they held up fine.

I am also too tall for them but can safely "test them due to my low weight" for a short time that is.

Being Athletic and used to a trampoline he would be best on the F40 set I would think, again like they said unless he is growing and gain weight fast I never had such luck yet Smiley .

One idea is to check on the seller see if there is a replacement for one year as with:
www.dcpowerstilts.com

I thought I would tell everyone this as not to many people ask now what if this breaks do we buy new?
Hope this helps as I just made a few suggestions, and show what I myself had tested to be true.
Just tell them Larry sent ya, lol.

Ok so I am looking to get a pair of powerisers soon. I have searched all over the internet trying to choose the right model and to be honest everywhere I look I get mixed answers, so I just want to get some feedback from the community. The first post on this thread says that the best bounce for the 7090's and the 90120's meet at 176 pounds (about 79 kg). I weigh about 173-175. I am a very athletic person and I can easily see myself using these to their full potential at some point. My question now obviously is, would it be better to get the 7090's of 90120's. I know this topic has been posted a thousand times but like I said I have been getting mixed answers wherever I look so I just thought I would ask. Thanks Smiley

Go with the 7090s.  Unless Poweriser has changed its springs significantly since it made the last pair I used, 7090s will be plenty strong enough to learn on.  By the time you are good enough to get the benefit from 90120s, you'll quite possibly need new springs anyway.

Go with what Frank said, the 90120s will be much too hard to bounce on if you're a beginner, I made the mistake of taking a pair of bocks designed for people 25kgs over my own weight (my first pair of bocks) and had to change the springs as 1) They were hurting my back like mad and 2) I couldn't get any height whatsoever.

Stick witht he 7090s.

Fergus.

If you weigh 55-65kg, and have never stilted before, definitely go with Poweriser 5070.

For beginners, I generally suggest staying within 5-10lbs of the proper range.  It is so much easier to learn the timing and jump techniques when the springs have the correct responsiveness.
