Just throwing this out there:

PoweriSer, or atleast Xphub, changed their weight classes a bit. 5070's now say top is 166, and 7090 low is 166.

I'm not saying change it. I like it as is, but you could if you wanted. I think they did this to compensate some for the tough springs.

they shifted it in the wrong direction, that'll make learning easier, but people will over power their springs faster.

With springs like they have, it may not be a totally bad idea.  However, what they need to do is improve their springs.  Frames that go loose but never break and cuffs can only take them so far.  If 7leagues enter the USA and Flying Locust cuffs enter the market, Poweriser will have very little going for it.

hi my son is 9 and weighs about 5 stone, he wants fly jumpers for christmas,could anyone advise me on what would be the best jumpers to purchase for him,he is quite atheletic and has a trampoline that he is never off if that makes adifferencewould be grateful for any help thanks

There is a bit of a 'dead area' where kids are too big for the childrens stilts but the person   not quite big enuff for the adults.

Oh and 'flyjumpers', 'poweriZers' and 'projump' are all the same  just different brand names from the same company  sold via different dealers. generally projump is cheapest and with the best support/company care  tho it is possible to get some of the other brands a lil cheaper  tho not often

But mainly please say how tall your son is   OOO and where are you?

He isn't big enough for the adult model.  Perhaps if he's exceedingly tall for his age, but at his weight he would proably be best served by children's models anyway.  If he's an athletic kid, perhaps F40 might be the best.  The community here doesn't know a whole lot about children's bocks because the adult models are greatly preferable if you're even close to big enough, but F30s or F40s are probably the best for him.

If he isn't set on a brand, it might be worth looking at Powerisers and 7leagueboots.  Poweriser springs are unusually stiff (but do not deliver more height) and their springs are one-size-fits-all for the kids' model.  Sounds bad, but Poweriser does have a much better track record of durability than Flyjumper.  The Thero from 7leagueboots will be totally superior in quality and the springs will feel softer while delivering the same height or more as F40 springs.  However, it costs 55 pounds more.

At nine years old, sounds like he's going to be a while on the kids' ones.  If you think it's safe to assume he will not get bored with it (finding people to bock with helps that, and any groups near you would be represented here), 7leagues would be worth it.  Their frames are strong and their springs are very high-quality and last a long time.  The hooves are also the toughest on the market, even outlasting Powerskips.  Powerisers are close in durability to 7leagues except for the hooves, but the springs start off too stiff and get softer over time.  Flyjumpers have intermediate quality springs but they have have a much higher rate of spring breaks than other brands.  However, softer springs are less fracture-prone, and F40 is about as soft as they get.  The only reas why I might not get Flyjumpers is that their bindings are really cheezy cloth straps.  Either other brand has plastic ratchets, which although they don't hold nearly as well as snowboard bindings (the method of choice here), should hold fine for a five-stone kid.
Oh, just looked again, Poweriser kiddie bocks have metal ratchets in close imitation of actual snowboard bindings, meaning they will have the best hold.  But like I hinted previously, it may be overkill.  Nobody really knows for sure here, as far as I know.

The decision is yours, I'd have a hard time deciding myself.  I hope you could make sense of that.  If they were my bocks I'd definitely want 7leagues, but it's your wallet and your kid.

you're son is to light for the adult model at 30 kg.   The kids model is available for kids of his weight, he'll be able to get 2-3 ft of air on them, do small tricks, and run.  Knowing this if he still wants them your best options are probably Pro jumps for 115.  Model F50 are probably advisable as he will be growing and we always recommend you go one bracket up from  your actual weight.  If he keeps with it and wants to continue as he gets close to 5' tall and 50kg he'd be ready to transition up to the adult model.

i am getting a new pair of poweriser advanced models, i weigh around 55 kg, so according to this information i should probably get PR7090's because i am growing pretty quickly at the moment.

unless you're gonna gain 5+kg very quickly, go with the 5070's.  They'll be much easier to learn on.  You could go with the 7090's if you want, but you'll struggle to learn on them.  Once you can compress the springs you'd get more air out of the 7090's, so its a trade off, fast learning vs more air later.  You decide.
