Ooh.... I thought that when you said that the powerisers.de are the biggest distributor in Europe so they would know if it's possible that the powerisers can be legaly shipped to Finland  and so on.... Embarrassed
I mailed SkateHut though the same day I mailed powerisers.de, But it sais in the Terms & Conds at SkateHut that they can deliver to everywhere.

skate hut sells a lot more things than bocks, bocks are more complicated than other products due to the patent issues

I am thinking about buying a new pair of  :poweriser:s, but I am only 11 and weigh 100 pounds (muscle weighs more than fat, I'm not overweight, no offense) But I want the  :poweriser:s mostly for bounce and height, not really running. Any help here?

if you're tall enough ~5ft, a 5070 or m60 spring should be just fine for you

yeah the quality problems tend to be exagerated here, I had the same kind of stilts you had for a year, i pushed them hard and they lasted, don't worry about it, and they've gotten better since then, you'll do fine.

My question is two part. First, which of these models should i get if i am about 175lbs so roughly 79 kg

7LeaguesBoot           T-Rex              70kg-90kg          60kg-80kg
                             (adult Frame)   154lbs-198lbs     154lbs-198lbs

7LeaguesBoot           S-Rex R           90kg-110kg         80kg-100kg
                             (adult Frame)   198lbs-265lbs     198lbs-265lbs

My Instinct is to get the S-Rex because i am hard on just about everything (bicycles, skateboards, shoes.....) and I would hate to invest in a pair I would soon bottom out on  Undecided
But if i get the S-Rex i am faced with R vs X.... Is the X substantially harder? Do the foot plate's differ? Would a X be too much for me who is without any experience? I am very spatially aware and I have always liked "off-beat" modes of transportation, so I feel will be a second nature after a month or two.

Second, I live in California and quickly discovered the 7Leagues don't really exist in the states, so I am wondering if there are alternative methods available that would allow me have them shipped from an individual?

Please help, I have know about powerisers for years and I cannot, live without them any longer!

Thanks,
 -Max

Poweriser is plenty good enough, 7leagues would probably be more trouble than the difference is worth.  7league springs have a character more like Powerskip, but that's about it.  Poweriser also has the Advanced model, with seriously superior bindings.  That's what I have and I love them, so maybe I'm a little partial.

Whatever you choose, go up if you're near the edge.  I'm seventy kilos on 70-90 springs, and they are not too hard at all.  Hard springs will be difficult to begin with, but after a while they will loosen up to something more comfortable.  Many people would tell you to go for 10-20kg above your actual weight, and my personal opinion as someone new would be closer to the +10kg school.  My 70-90 springs put me about 4.5-5 feet in the air.  It's enough to flip (can't do it yet), but not enough to vault a 9-foot fence or something crazy like that.

7's are a minor pain to get in the US, but they're approved to sell in the US you just have to email the home office and austria and get them shipped from there.  I personally don't think its worth it, but i haven't tried them, other's claim they're better.  at 80kg having never bocked before, i'd reccomend the srex r or a  90120 or a M100 if you decide to go for domesticly avaiable stilts.

as for your question, there is no diff between the r and x other than the spring

Yes the X is substantially harder, the rest is the same, I would not recommend the X with your weight.

Concerning availability, you would have to order them directly from producer since there are no vendors in US at the moment see also http://www.PoweriserPages.com/forum/import_taxes-t4140.0.html

classics or pro of which brand?

PoweriSer i'd reccomend the 2007/8/Advanced/Pro they have many names now, they've got cuffs and upgraded bindings which make them a lot more comfortable.

7's don't have a classic or pro

anything else is a Flying Locust which are sold under many names and their pro model had pivoting foot plates and have had reliability issues so i'd avoid them the the FL classics are fine though
