I think he's right in that buffer of not tall enough for the adult model, but too big for the kids model.  You've got to be about 5ft 2in to effectively use the flip flop technique, at his height i think you're gonna have to wait until he's a few inches taller.

We have someone on PJF who is not quite 5' & 6 stone, but used hard foam on the footplate instead of flipflops (about an inch thickness) and is doing fine on the adult M60's.

Hi!

I am planing to buy these poweriZers to the left http://www.pulju.net/shop/product_details.php?p=1258 and I weight 60kg so I think I am taking the M80, but I have som questions about them:

Do they have good bounce like those in the movie below, and these are Chinese right? So how is the quality and do other parts break easily than the rubber piece?

the movie on that page is of powerskips so the people running that site are basically lying to you.  You can still do all the flips and big tricks on the cheaper stilts, they just don't last as long.  They're fine beginner stilts.  I had them for my first pair, they lasted a year with significant abuse.

M80's are a good choice.

Where can I get the powerskips and how much do they cost (just curious) Grin
And what was it that wore out on the stilts you had? Was it the spring or the whole thing?

powerskip.de, about $1300 US, basically everything wore out at once, the one spring broke, and the frames were shot.

Ok thanks for answering! Smiley But still one question,  if the spring breaks doesn't almost every spring fit into the stilt? It's ok if I have to drill some holes or something... And where could I find some springs? Not too expensive though.
And is there some other better stilts for about the same price?

yeah if one part breaks almost every brand is interchangeable, anywhere that sells whole stilts should be able to get spare parts, just email them.  My problem was that almost everything failed withing a short time so i just got a new pair.

I don't know what's available in finland, but PoweriSers and 7LeaugeBoots are both slightly more expensive, but generally considered worth the money

Ok I think I'll maybe go for these. Do you know if they ship to Finland? And is this site reliable?

those are good stilts, same ones i have in fact, but i'm pretty sure they can't legally ship to finland, bocks are patented in certain countries, and most of them have licensing agreements that prevent them from selling to non-patented countries.  email the people at powerisers.de, they're one of the biggest distrbutors in mainland europe, ask if they can hook you up or if they know a company that can.

they're all legal in finland, because they're not patented there, you just have to find a dealer in a non patented country, as most of the dealers in patented countries have restrictive licensing agreements.

um... you've got it backwards there

if you want to know if skatehut can ship to finland, you have to ask skatehut.   if the powerisers.de people said they can ship to finland, than they can, not necessarily everyone can.
