Perhaps you should give us some additional information. For example, how much did your mate pay for his set? The prices for all brands are all over the place. I have seen, for example, brand new sets of PoweriZers going from US$360 to US$500. That is quite a large difference in price for the exact same product. How much did you pay for your Pro-Jumps? I saw Pro-Jumps for 175 GBP, which is about US$330, so these are cheaper than the least expensive PoweriZers I have seen, but the shipping (for me) from the UK to the US would more than make up the difference.

hey, i also have some pro-jumps, wich are absolutely no diferent to powerisers. the only reason they are called pro-jumps is because the seller of them does not have the liscence or the copyright to sell "powerisers", so all they do, is remove the name " powerisers" and replace it with pro-jump. this is what the seller told me when i went 2 buy mine.
hope this helps,

Would the patent be infringed if they copied the product and only changed the label? Is Poweriser going after that?

powerizers have the trademark for that name the same way pro-jump have their name trademarked.

Poweriser and Pro-Jump are the only legal risers in the UK with the rights from the german inventor.

so really they are the same product with the rights to sell but with different names.

i think pro-jump buy in larger quantities so this is why they sell for lower prices

anyway im no longer stiltless so im happy hopping around - will get some pictures on shortly

powerizer use to be the uk exclusive for poweriser but have lost their right to sell because they have started importing from China...powerizer from what i have heard on the grape vine have also lost the royalties right to sell this item and the contract will end with in the next few months.

I feel it is wrong that poweriserpages forum is supporting a company that has changed its name with a simple Z and using the orginal to promote its self.

dear ghostneo

i personally know the company behind poweriZer and they were the first importers of this product type and they have had the longest royalty contract with the patent holders who they go to germany to meet regularly.

they used to buy the korean powerisers but due to customer complaints about poweriSer, pro jump etc and other brands they were forced to get a new chinese manufacturer to make the product at the same if not better quality - AND if they were still selling powerisers you would be paying £250 - £300 instead of £200
for them cos they cant make them for cheaper in korea. in addition PoweriZer is not just a name change but a registered trademark, as with poweriSer etc - the PoweriZer company is the only repuatble company trying to sell this product - who have official PR company's and marketing etc - rather than just a dodgy company making cheap copies and feeding off their advertising

i think you should get your facts straight before you post on a reputable forum - rather than your "grape vine"!!

PoweriZers are the chinese version
PoweriSers are the korean version

They are totally different companies, read around on here to find out before making a fool of yourself on your first post...

Lets make something clear.....

Powerizer and pro-jump, for now have their own trademark Brands produced in the same factory... so lets not be fooled into thinking one is better than the other. Just because poweriser was the 1st does not make it the best and if someones prices are higher it does not mean the product is any better.

I think we need someone independent to test all the brands on the market so that we all can be sure once and for all which one is the best.
