No, i am not a graphics artist, but thanx for the kind words Bill. Your bockwieser response is very cool. I am actually a signalman on the railway. I just enjoy messing around with photography and images in photoshop. I am not all that good at either, but i can apply the basics of the photoshop software, which can give some excellent results. I have thought about some more logos. What about one for a group up north: Northern Rock = Northern Bock: The Manchester groups could try Boddingtons to Bockingtons: Those of you that MTB will be familiar with these: I like this one, as i think it really relates to bocking. There must be some other great ones to do? ? Come on guys/gals, what you got? Friis, Nice idea, but I guess that would be up to Matt?

Powerising / Problems / Re: PoweriSer 07/8 & oil = black gunk!

Yep, black gunk is the norm, once sprayed with GT85 or WD40. Same as any door hinge or padlock. Nothing to worry about at all. (other than dirty fingers). Here's my theory: Your shiney bearings and assemblies would have been lightly greased when new. This would pick up dust and small particles of muck. Through use, the components rub on one another, wearing each other away and creating more tiny particles of paint and metal. Eventually, enough tiny bits of muck and debris build up between the moving parts, that the squeeking and honking noise's start. You squirt your lubrication of choice at the bearings, and this flushes out all these tiny particles.

Hey Bill, That Bockweiser logo is great. I like it. Do you have any more please? Grasshopper, I was thinking T-Shirts too. I have actually been checking them out on a T-Shirt designer site, to see how they look. I like the Lambo one myself, but the base image i have is a bit small. Locky, I (read the kids), have stacks of lego if you wanna come round and play. Lego is fantastic. Would that make this a Blocking Forum?

Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Logo manipulation

Hey guys, had some spare time, so messed about with some logo manipulation. Heres what i got so far, Boots to Bocks. Found a butchered version of this buried deep in the gallery. Burger King to Bocker King. Lamborghini to Lambockhini. Does anyone have any other examples, or suggestions for logo's to be modded?

Hey DI, Yes, it is Richard that i have been dealing with, both on the phone and via email. To be fair, he did sort out the replacement bearing assemblies in a timely fashion, but this latest spacer problem seems to be dragging out forever. He claims to have sent out 2 spacers to me already. One 2 weeks ago, and one this monday just gone. I have received nothing. It could be that the post office are to blame, i just don't know. This is why i always send items recorded delivery, so that i can keep track of items, and know when to blame the PO. DI, glad to hear that you got the strap replaced, hassle free. Don't forget to fit a larger washer on it, to spread the pressure and minimise the chance of another pull through.

looked on BMIbaby.... to fly from edingborough to cardiff... flying down on the friday and retuirning on the monday is £56.93 quid, thats with all taxes etc. (return ticket) Fuel costs for a road trip, will cost more than double that flight price. That represents great value. Nice find Ricc. It is always nice to have your car at destination for flexibility, but with those prices and the time saving, i reckon it's a no-brainer.

Tobias,
Don't worry, Skatehut are the real deal. I am sure you will get your bocks soon. They were a bit slow with my transaction too. Their after sales care leaves a bit to be desired. There communications are not great, and they then forward you to their suppliers, J&R sports Limited. I have been trying to obtain a replacement spacer to replace a broken one, for 4 weeks now. They keep sending mails saying they have sent the item, but as yet i have received nothing. Pretty poor really.

Mikael, That was very entertaining to watch, thanx for sharing. You pulled a huge crowd around you. Fantastic. You are all 3, very talented. I tried throwing some loose change at you, but it bounced back off the screen.
