do u mean snow shoes to be able to bounce un deep snow, to make the hooves bigger, try to explain how this should be done? some sort of rings tied to the hooves? i dont think this has been done yet, the spikes were made to decrease slipping on hard snow and ice but i think you were considering deep snow!? adepting ski or snowboard bindings to the hooves could be funny but wont be too easy

JT, can u up some little clip of ur jumping in place? i bet u are compressing ur stiltz, so the point when u hit the floor is important to see.
50  Powerising / Problems / Re: wrong spring? on: October 19, 2008, 09:56:57 AM
talk to your dealer real quick, if u are bottoming out ur prs 70/90 easily ull have to change to 90/120. Bottoming out means fully compressed frames, this means the rest of the used force went thru the frame into ur body, will hurt ur lower back and will destroy the frame. It aint all about ur weight, its ur weight PLUS the force u are able to give into the springs, in my opinion the dealer made a mistake, sellin you springs which are too soft. Try to sell ur springs when ur dealer isnt cooperative, but in this case change ur dealer!!where did u buy them?

concernig straight highjump, 5.5kg each stilt is no problem, but is very difficult to handle while doing splits. Im using a massive Frame and i consider it more important, where the weight is located.
Physically, you have to be "close to" speedjumper while using one, i think.
Imho it aint that important having "pros" testing, i consider hard testing by amateurs even better due to their not so perfect technics, bad landings and so on. But i do think a backflip should be the trick which integrates most potential to damage stilts and springs.Im not sure if the need to provide good backflip abilities played a role during construction of this model, im also not sure if this had any effect on any model...

when u change ur hooves next time u might have a try swinging one leg without a hoove
56  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: SpeedJumper Professional on: September 30, 2008, 11:40:28 PM
when you compare a hoove with aluframe to the single spring u will feel the difference because of the distance the weight is away from ur body, its like holding a stick away from ur body, if the stick would be from ur hand along the arm it will appear lighter. its the word for "hebelkraft" missing in my vocabular making it difficult to explain
Edit: there is less leverage effect
57  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: SpeedJumper Professional on: September 30, 2008, 11:28:05 PM
i thought juhuv was wrong saying improved things cant be more expensive than the original ones, so i took my roadster to a tuner, got it chipped, spraypainted, lowered and choose some of these black rims i always wanted and right, i didnt have to pay for it Smiley
there are some big differences between the Upwing ultra and the Speedjumper Olympic, you will find out and its not the topic, the topic is about a frame developed nonchinesely Wink
i consider this frame made for the normal springs i guess its part of the testing how it will work with the big springs. I think the adapter will hold the normal springs in the "basic" position but i havent seen them yet. Im using this kind of springs since april and they dont rest more than 3 days in a row. Im as brandless as possible but i do like the idea of putting the weight close to the legs.

59  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: Welches Modell? on: May 20, 2008, 08:09:21 PM
hej Hijack!
Viele Gruesse,

Nachtschatten
