His problem was he was relying to much on that stick. He kept stopping when he should of kept moving. He needed to pick his feet up higher and keep them straight. He was centering his weight forward to lean on that stick. Which caused the majority of his falls.
lol, give the guy tips next time?

I'll have my video up whenever he gets around to sending it to me. It could be a while. D:
But yeah, some people really do need to think before they speak. I guess some peoples heads go for a few when they see something strange?

Haha, that's great.
The most annoying thing I've come across this one time though. Was I was out bocking on the other side of my neighborhood. I was mostly running up and down the streets, and getting some high jumps between this driveway.
When I noticed this flash out of the corner of my eye. I slowed to a walk, and this girl had taken a picture of me. I stopped, turned and waved at her. She immediately went back inside her place.
D:
Come on if you're going to take pictures of me, at least wave back or talk to me.

Yeah, I always wear pads. I haven't had anyone ask me that yet. Mostly my FAQs are;
"Did you make them?"
"What are those?"
"Where did you get those?"
"Can you fall?"
I always love the can you fall question.
"No I can't, see they have anti gravity boosters that hold me up in the event of a fall"

Everything Else / Powerising Stories / Slippery Bock Across Town

So yesterday was a bit of a memorable bocking day. I ended up heading across town with both my pairs of bocks to a friends apartment. He wanted me to teach him how to walk, so I brought my newer PR90120s for myself, and my old skyrunners for him. It had rained all afternoon, but at the time it was clear. So we decided to go for it.
We actually did capture the entire moment on video. I got him on the stilts, helped him stand, told him how to walk, and walked around for a while with him. Eventually he started walking away from me. At the moment where I took over camera control and our other friend started to walk over to him. I yelled "This is all you jeff!" then about 20 seconds later he fell straight down. xD
After he got back to his feet, he walked back to his truck where we had put them on, and decided he was done for the day.
After that I went ahead and put on my bocks. The roads were fine for walking, but they were way to slick for any real jumping. But I went ahead and did a few light bounces anyway. We managed to get all this part on tape. I ended up deciding the area was to small, and so we started walking the streets to search for dry spots. We walked several blocks, probably near a mile all the way across town to the local college campus.
The walk there was amusing, because I've never bocked in the heart of town before. Mostly just by my place on the edge where few people go, or to local parks on the slow days. I got a lot of stares, and cars kept slowing down to look. I ended up getting my most common question asked twice by different people "Didja make them?"
I traveled mostly on sidewalk, but in the streets of the side roads. I did a few hops a long the way, but nothing crazy. Again the ground was wet and cold (It's snowing as I type this) so I was fairly cautious.
When we finally got to campus, after I bocked through a middle of a busy intersection at the light. We headed off towards the library where it was a bit dryer. I did have a cop drive past us at this point, he slowed down and I waved and he kept going. When we got to the library. I did a few basic kanga jumps, and finally actually had some small stairs to jump off of. Up until this point I haven't had any real terrain to bock in other than flat paved roads, and parking lots. So my first jump was a bit hesitant. It was silly of me, since the stairs were no higher than any other jump I'd do straight on the ground. But I had this mental block to overcome.
I just did about two jumps from it. My second one I felt a lot better and wanted to do more. But we ended up going across campus. To a basketball court which I was going to dunk it. But the court turned out to be full of puddles. So I just grabbed the rim and hanged for the video. XD
It was actually drizzling for the later half of all this. Towards the end of the time out it was getting fairly dark. So we walked back across town to end the night and review the footage.
Eventually my friend should get that to me. So I'll finally have some videos of myself to share on here. But overall it was a pretty good time. I finally got someone else to try them on, and I got to bock in a few new places.

You're towards the end of the weight range. I'd spend the extra money and get a brand in a range ahead of that. You won't notice it straight away, but once you learn how to really jump. You'll end up bottoming out fairly easy and wishing you were a grade up.

You bock at wal-mart? I'm surprised you haven't been run off. I work at a Sam's Club and we always have to run off skaters.
But oh how I'd like to jump this one section of the lot...

Yeah I used to have outdoor jobs. So I've done a lot of working in extreme cold. I'm just out of practice getting my breathing right. My nose is slightly clogged, so I end up breathing through my mouth without realizing it.

It's nice and sunny out. But the wind is chilly. But yeah it was nice to have a day off where I could actually go out. Even if I only stayed out for about 40 minutes.
