its gotta be mearused in hours of use, unfortunately, nobody really keeps track of that beyond the first month or so, i've had unprotected powerisre hooves for almost a year, they're still going, but getting down to replacement time within the next month i think. Also i didn't use them much over the winter cause it gets to cold to bock here from december to march. But i really have no clue how many hours of use i have on them, which is the actually important number.

The quality of pro-jump is disputable, some people have found the new ones a bit stiff. however I haven't heard the most recent info.
can you point me to this cause i haven't seen a complaint about pj's in a long time

Powerising / Problems / Re: Have I gotten too Stiff a Spring?

well they started putting them on the standard models (pro jump's at least) and i know pro jump have have very few problems with them, and given the inital big problems with the high weight springs on the pivoting foot plate model something must have changed or we'd still be hearing about all those springs breaking.

time to get up to that skill level is highly variable, depends on the person, if you are good at balance related activites, and youre a little crazy, a week or two and you'll be walking and dancing around, little longer for the jumping. It all depends on your previous experience and how much risk you're willing to take. I was jumping about a foot after an hour on bocks, but that's cause i have very good balance and i'm crazy.

yeah i weigh about 92kg and i've been used to PR's for the last 9 months and as you said they're harder all the way through the compression, which i think is my problem, i'm used to putting a lot of energy into compressing the springs, and now i can put in less energy to compress them, which just feels wrong to me, i haven't gotten used to it enough to tell if i'm getting the same height.when i put in less energy

Powerising / Problems / Re: Help! Got my stilts.. yet wrong model. Should I keep them?

i think those stilts are too strong for a totally new bocker. You could keep them, and eventually you'd learn to use them, but it would take you much longer than normal. If it were m90's i'd say keep em and you'd adjust, but these are just gonna be too stiff for a new bocker, send em back.

Powerising / Problems / Re: have i broken my spring??

you have to take of the bolt through the frame at the top of the spring, and both the bolts through the foot. Then switch the metal mounting plates to the new springs. then re do the 3 bolts on the top and in the hoof and then you're done, use some locktite if you've got it.
