so your looking at under $100 i reckon, worth it
i reckon not worth it when a suitable spacer can be made for like $2 and 10mins of work

approx what ever they'd cost you in pounds * 2,  plus transatlantic shipping
457  Powerising / Problems / Re: hoof connection to other metal arm on: July 07, 2008, 03:08:21 AM
way too many pictures of the same thing

but the only way to fix it permanently is to put a spacer inside the hoof to hold the bars straight.  look at a picture of 7's hooves, they've got a bar welded across the top, I made a spacer out of 1/2" copper pipe it fits over the bearing assembly and holds it apart.

Stuntman told me that he'd seen bungies used to increase strength of springs, but as its only second hand, idk if it works.

All you need to know about spring weights.

And yes the PR Advanced are worth it if you sure you're gonna stick with it.

462  Powerising / Practising / Re: About bottoming out... on: July 05, 2008, 07:43:46 PM
they cost like $500 us, idk how much it would be to get them to sweeden.  You should def go up if you're bottoming out the 7090's.  So s-rex or skips are the right places to look, idk if they're gonna ever gonna sell s-rex spring seperately, but might as well worry about what you're gonna get based on what's available when you're current springs give up.
463  Powerising / Practising / Re: About bottoming out... on: July 05, 2008, 05:41:43 PM
bottoming out is bad, it sends a shock up your back and can throw you off balance.  Its controllable, just difficult, i've gotten to a point where i can feel myself bottoming out but just gently enough that i'm not slamming into the ground and throwing myself off. This just means i can use the entire spring.  If you bottom out often, and you can get stronger springs, its not a bad idea, but if you don't bottom out that often, then finish off your current springs, and when they die get new stronger ones.
464  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: Different springs on: July 04, 2008, 05:32:26 PM
yes i weigh 90kg and i bottom them out after 2 bounces, if you look at everyone else on here who has them, other than DK i don't think there's anyone else on them that's actually in the range they're meant for.  They're a good spring for lighter people looking for more power, but they can't take the weight they claim they can.
465  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: A Nice Long List Of Names on: July 04, 2008, 05:13:06 AM
Kiola, on the 7leagueboots link you have www.pro-jumps.com.  For a start its .co.uk not .com, and also they sell pro-jumps and powerskips not 7 leagues Wink.  Just thought I should point that out.

That's cause projump.com used to point to one of the 7's retailers, doesn't anymore it seems.
