Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: A Discription of a 'Bail'

if you fall its a bail in my book doesn't matter if its cause you didn't commit or if you committed and just did it wrong, or if you just land of balance and fall. If anything other than my hooves hits the ground I call it a bail.

Not really. I'd chalk it up half to the remnants of isolationism, and half to our mutual calm and fairly friendly relations, that not many Americans are keenly interested in British politics.
I'd doubt a ton of Brits are keenly interested in US politics, but its become such a circus that it should be published in the humor section in other countries.

Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: First try with the PoweriSer 2007 calf cuffs!!

padd your kneebar or get some knee pads, also look into quick release straps as found on www.stiltmodz.com, they'll stop your leg from wobbing around. Its a cheaper and faster method to make the knee bars more comfortable. That said, still doesn't come close to the comfort of cuffs. I used knee bars for a year and i've been using cuffs for a year and a half and every time i try out someone's stilts that still has kneebars i feel like i'm putting on mideival torture devices. Cuffs rock, but they're also very expensive as an aftermarket add on, so try the other methods for making your kneebar more comfortable before dropping a ton of cash.

Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: original poweriser springs same as poweriser 07/08 springs?

cause he's right. There are some springs available i.e. 7's that are easy to compress and have good energy return. There are other springs i.e. Powerisers that are hard to compress and don't have great energy return. The end result is when maxing out either spring you can go about the same height, its just easier to do on the softer spring. The flip side of this is if you get a soft spring that is correct for your weight, you'll learn easier, but bottom out faster and then want stronger springs. If you get the stiffer spring for your weight, you'll learn slower, but it will take more time and better technique before you start bottoming them out often and want a stronger spring.

Well, it's nice to know everyone is interested. Just don't believe everything you see, hear or read in the media. We've learned this year in the U.S. that our "freedom of the press" no longer means freedom to report the truth as originally intended. The news media now feels it means freedom to slant the news anyway they want to in order to promote their own views and influence the public.
They have freedom to report the truth, they're just business people and feel that they can sell more papers/get better ratings by reporting what they want you to hear rather than what actually happened

Yeah they've got normal FL stilts, so nothing especially bad about them, they're just kind of an annoying company.

thumbnails for videos are only for vids in the video section and are done automatically by taking the same thumbnail youtube uses, animated avitars, just upload an animated gif image as your avitar, there are lots of tools out there to make them, google around.

unless you're gonna gain 5+kg very quickly, go with the 5070's. They'll be much easier to learn on. You could go with the 7090's if you want, but you'll struggle to learn on them. Once you can compress the springs you'd get more air out of the 7090's, so its a trade off, fast learning vs more air later. You decide.
