3751  Everything Else / Powerising Stories / Re: First Day on PoweriZers on: June 10, 2006, 12:33:54 AM
Well day two was just as good as day one, took my first fall, I was running at a good clip and tripped, went down on my wrist guards and kneepads, got a little road rash on my elbow and sholder but no serious injuries.  Then i got to try to get up, which just wasn't happening so my friend helped me up, definately not jumping alone until i can get up on my own.  Gonna pick up some hockey tape and tire sock supplies later this evening, and go down to a snowboard shop for bindings over the weekend.  Still need to get some silicon cause that honking is killing me.

PS, their warehouse for riser's, is here in Georgia, near the Florida border.

That's intersting i got my riZers from BossBi and they also came from georgia and since SuperDairy Boy is now selling poweriZers not powerisers they are likely to be coming from the same warehoues.
and its also worth noting that BossBi is about $75 cheaper than SuperDairyBoy

I completely agree that they should have informed you of the brand switch and asked if you still wanted them, but I'd say keep the M100's, i weigh 86kg and just got my M100's from Bossbi yesterday, i could flex them plunty and they've barely started to break in.  I think in the long run you'll get a better bounce from a stiffer spring it'll just take a little longer to break them in.

BUY SOME BUY SOME NOW UL LOVE THEM TO DEATH!

I couldn't have said it better myself.

and you probably want to go with the ones that are rated for more than you weigh, they'll take a little longer to break in the springs but you'll get a better bounce in the long run
3755  Everything Else / Powerising Stories / Re: First Day on PoweriZers on: June 09, 2006, 02:32:47 AM
Mine are rated for more than my weight, but not by much i'm ~190 mine are rated for 200-220

the honking is very annoying, i put some WD40 on it and that take care of it for a bit, but it comes back in like 20 mins, i'm gonna get some silicon or graphite as was suggested on other threads.

So they finally came in today Grin Grin Grin and i managed to get up and walking instantly, i started on my porch so i could use the ceiling if i needed it but i didn't.  I was walking around in front of my house for about half an hour and i called my friend to come try them, he picked it up just as quickly as I did.  After about an hour of practice i was walking forwards and backwards, running at about the same pace as my friend could run on feet, hopping on one foot, or the other, and roo hoping about a foot.

3757  Powerising / Problems / Fitting you're foot through the Knee bar on: June 09, 2006, 01:21:03 AM
So I just got my poweriZers today, they're amazing as expected, but when i went to put them on i was confused why no one had mentioned the fact that it's a pain to fit my foot through the knee bar, granted I have size 12 feet, but still.  My friend tried to put them on and couldn't cause he was wearing large shoes.  so he had to take them off put his foot through the bar and then put his shoe back on.  Just wondering if anyone else was having this problem?

3759  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / BOSSBi back in stock on: June 02, 2006, 07:44:22 PM
Quoted from BOSSBi's poweriZer page"UPDATE 6/2/06: a very limited quantity of M80, 90, 100 & 110 just arrived, full stock resumes some time this month."

I just ordered mine and I'm psyched, glad i don't have to wait anymore, and for those of you waiting for US distributors to get back in stock jump on this quick, Great price while they last.  Grin Grin Grin
3760  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Another "which should I buy dilema" on: June 02, 2006, 01:08:15 AM
Well as long as google calculator is correct 9 stone is 57kg and 126lbs and the popular recomendation here seems to be to go with a spring rated higher than you actually weigh.  So i'd suggest the Poweriser PR-5070 for 50kg-70kg, or the PoweriZer M70 for 133lbs-154lbs.  Good luck finding them.  I'm stuck waiting till mid june because most of the US distributors are out of stock, I dunno if this is the case for UK/Europe.
3761  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: xtremeimportz.com? on: May 31, 2006, 01:17:45 PM
Thanks for the info, I'm just overly critical of any site that i might be giving my credit card number to, which makes sense to me.  And I think being a user of risers yourself you will be able to provide better customer support.  I had actually considered making my own site like yours but being 19 i don't know where to start nor do i have the captial.  So you'll prolly be getting an order from me once you get your shippment in.
3762  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / xtremeimportz.com? on: May 31, 2006, 12:15:57 AM
I got a link to this site  somewhere on the fourm, don't remember where, but it has the cheapest price on poweriZers i've seen, $400 shipped to the US or Canada.  However it seems really sketchy, the site looks very amature and the first couple of times i went there was a hit counter at the bottom of the page that read less than 150.  It has since been removed, I assume to make it look like its been there for a while.  It also has a page that points people here, which makes me think it might be owned by a member here.

Any one have any info on this page/company cause that price is almost too good to pass up.

3764  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: The 100th Member on: May 29, 2006, 10:29:35 PM
I like prizes, but i'll take a warm welcome if that's all you got.  I've been reading the forum for a while, just never got around to signing up, i'm planning on ordering some  's soon.  The fourm's here have been a great help in deciding where and what model to get.
