377  Powerising / USA / Prov/Boston? August 2-3rd? get XS off the couch meet on: July 25, 2008, 02:38:51 AM
I've been off bocks with a sprained ankle for the last 3 weeks, its been boring, but its time to get back on my bocks and I've gotta get back in bocking form for CB.  So sometime the weekend of august 2/3.  I'll be at waterfire in providence on the 2nd in the evening, if anybody wants to come bock that, or around prov earlier that day i'm in, or i could go up to boston on the 3rd.  Thoughts/opinions?
378  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: Umm, what are these? on: July 25, 2008, 01:12:17 AM
the contact address is in austria, not germany, so no patent issue till they try to sell elsewhere with out a license.

other than that there are a few significant design changes, and if they can actually get ball bearings to work they've got potential, gotta get with the times and ditch the plastic bindings though.

381  Everything Else / Introductions / Re: Hi from Boston, MA! on: July 23, 2008, 10:03:47 PM
welcome, we've got about 6 now.  Dominion and I are trying to work something out the first week of august, more on that as it develops.  I gotta get back on my bocks, sprained ankle is just about healed.  This rain today isn't helping tough...
382  Powerising / USA / Re: Capital Bocking USA 08 planning on: July 23, 2008, 02:42:25 PM
I'd like to go, but if its 16-17th i'll be in Cardiff, also don't know if i can afford the gas for an 800 mile drive right now.

So who's actually planning on going?  You're all gonna need to pitch in to make this happen at this point.  I've been way to busy with work and getting myself to CB Cardiff.  Anyone who wants to go post when you can/want to do it ASAP.  Someone's gotta step up and take charge, cause if you all leave it its gonna get done half assed or not at all depending on how busy I am.  Sorry guys.
386  Powerising / Injuries / Re: lower back pains? on: July 22, 2008, 07:30:32 PM
bocking will strengthen it, just takes time.  The reason there is weakness is cause there are so few exercises that exercise your body in the same way bocking does.
387  Powerising / UK / Re: Capital Bocking Shirts on: July 22, 2008, 06:45:14 PM
I ordered mine last night, made a few small modifications  Grin
388  Powerising / UK / Re: Capital Bocking Cardiff saturday & sunday 16th-17th August 2008 on: July 22, 2008, 04:58:04 PM
Dominion is definitely IN!

I just booked my flights from the 13th to the 20th of August.  I'll have my passport in a few days.
Only thing i can think of that might be a problem is that i land 2.5 hours AFTER nick, and I leave 40 minutes prior to him on the return flight.

NICK, if you see this prior to getting my voicemail, please call me.

about time

I was inquiring about what would happen if it was raining all weekend?

we get wet
389  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Buying in Australia PLEASE HELP! on: July 22, 2008, 01:17:25 PM
yes that's correct its owned by xtremeimportz, though the owner hasn't been on here in prolly a year.  And yeah they'll do fine for a beginner stilt.
390  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Buying in Australia PLEASE HELP! on: July 22, 2008, 01:10:39 PM
well that site you linked to sells stilts that are made by the same company as air runners.  They're a better model than the air runner model though.

There aren't that many people here from Australia so i don't know what's available there.
