kicked a 20 ft ceiling holy crap that's high
3422  Powerising / Videos / Re: Me bottoming out on: January 29, 2007, 05:02:44 PM
getting back to the point of the thread, you can clearly see from the 1/4 speed video that when you bottomed out you landed on one foot, the other hoof doesn't even hit the ground, so keep in on 2 hooves and you should be good for some more height without bottoming out.

3424  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: PowerSkip Pro on: January 29, 2007, 02:24:39 AM
I think tripmaster is right about how they connect, the website is very unclear about how you attach the shoe, but you have to perminatnly attach a shoe to them, because they only have 1 strap otherwise
3425  Powerising / Meet Ups / Re: View meet ups in the Calendar on: January 29, 2007, 02:21:02 AM
cool feature, should prove to be very useful
3426  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: The new Knee Brace. on: January 28, 2007, 01:17:20 PM
the site that sells them in the US is stiltwerks.com, but I wouldn't reccomend getting them from there cause there far more expensive than the poweriser version, cause they're for velocity stilts.
3427  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: MERCHANDISE on: January 27, 2007, 08:49:37 PM
yeah i'd second the request for black stuff, or at least something other than white

3432  Powerising / Where to Powerise / Re: I live in America. AH MAY RICK AH. on: January 26, 2007, 05:05:59 PM
I wouldn't say the site is overly british, just that the membership is predominately british, nothing wrong with that, risers haven't caught on as much in the US i guess, hopefully it'll catch up soon.  I'm doing my part to advertise them, everybody get out and show off and more people will want them.

3433  Powerising / USA / Re: West Coast meet? on: January 26, 2007, 05:02:32 PM
nice to see more activity in the USA board, can't really come to a west coast meet, but i think there are others on the board that can, good luck
3434  Powerising / USA / Re: New England meet summer '07 on: January 26, 2007, 04:53:02 PM
Dude just wait till the summers, i assume you know what waterfire is, i go to almost all of them, it'd be amazing with 2 of us, once it warms up a little we can start meeting up regularly.  I'm at school about an hour away, but when i come home for weekends and when i'm out for the summer that'll be great.
3435  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: project grind on: January 25, 2007, 09:00:02 PM
so your saying he grinds on the front side of the footplate, where the front binding attaches and the end of the stabalizer rod, risky move, i think i'd be easier to slide on the front of the foot plate slightly cocked out at an angle, but you only have one point of contact that way, i think i'm gonna experiment with adding a grind plate there next time i go home and i'll let you know what i come up with, i'm gonna try to avoid the stablizer rod cause it'll be annoying to work around

and with that SUPER KANGAROO TIME!
