yeah, go for origonals, i don't think pros are worth the money, just my opinion, others think differently.

wait so you paid 500 for a piece of padded fabric and a few screws? damn that's a rip off.

3365  Powerising / Where to Powerise / Re: is it usefull??? on: February 07, 2007, 11:32:30 PM
They are tons of fun, I don't think they'd really be useful as transportation though, because once you get to where ever you are going you have to carry them around until you leave, they get heavy when they're not strapped to your legs, and your english is fine, no need to keep apologising for it.
3366  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: what do u think about this? on: February 07, 2007, 11:24:31 PM

sounds like a cool trick ollie so its a crossed over spring grab, where your other foot is out in front of you instead of below you, i'll have to try that.
3368  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: why are the bindings rubbish? on: February 07, 2007, 09:13:19 PM

3369  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: Nailed a 540 spin on: February 07, 2007, 06:01:41 PM
Nice job on the 540 i've pulled it a few times, don't have any on film, bruice from the display team can do them, check out his vid in the skate park for that, you don't see his take off though

the velocity cuffs cost a lot because they're made of crazy light alloys and stuff, and they're just solidly well made, not worth it to buy a cuff that costs more than your stilts though, stick with the poweriser one

I love my PoweriZers, I get plunty of bounce, and as long as you choose the right model for your weight you'll be able to get close to 6ft, i get about 4, and that's plunty for me, if you choose a model above your weight you should be able to get closer, i'm at the bottom of the weight range for mine.  As for their construction, i've had mine for 7months now, they're holding up fine, and i definately don't go easy on them.  i'll prolly be upgrading them some time this summer, but i reccomend that new people get them to start because they're cheap, but still last a year+ and after you wear them out if you absolutely love the sport(you prolly will) upgrade to 7's(they'll be available by then) or even skips.

First off, welcome, good to see the US contingent of bockers growing.

If your willing to wait till the summer then yes 7's should be available by then, if your like me, your not willing to wait that long, then i'd suggest going for what i think is the best rated US dealer xtremeimportz.com, same price as the 2 you linked, but they have a reputation for great cutomer service, i've dealt with them myself, good people.
3374  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: HOW SHORT ARE YOU??? on: February 06, 2007, 09:11:41 PM
This guy had to mod his because he was too short, he said he's 5'2" or 5'3", so that's prolly the min height, but it all depends on how long your lower legs are, there have been several people that have posted the measurements of how far the kneebar goes down to get a min leg lenght, but i don't remember what that number is.
3375  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: project grind on: February 06, 2007, 09:08:02 PM
he's grinding where the front binding screw goes through the foot plate, and on the bottom of the stabalizer rod, and as he said VERY DANGEROUS, DON'T TRY IT AT HOME
