I'm thinking on making a roof to to over the safety enclosure and add lights  Grin

lights are good, just make sure there's more light over the trampoline than under it or you'll be able to see right through it, which is cool but makes it hard to spot landings.

roof is a good idea, but generally dangerous in practice

the best trampoline mod is of course to sink it into the ground

Interesting flips, XS.  You don't seem to tuck at all, and it looks either awkward or really cool.  I'm not sure which, maybe both.

its just a whip/layout, that's how i do them on the trampoline and i think they look cooler but its personal preference, i've seen a bunch of others with similar technique
1,2,3,etc

good comparison of kiola doing a whip/layout and rancher doing a tuck here.

I've noticed that they are pretty much all gainers as well  Cheesy

I think that's an result of me still adjusting to not doing a 180 into the flip, and moving forward as i kanga into them

thanks everybody, the spot is great, we didn't get to use the upper part yesterday cause part of it was full of rain water, but the lower section is just as good.

I'd love to do Parkour there! You're so lucky!
I found it through a parkour forum.

We had a meet up in Boston today, in attendance were Zan, SignalPAD and myself.  The focus of the day was vaulting.  Congrats to SignalPAD who just about doubled the height that he's comfortable vaulting.  Zan and I worked on split kick vaults, and i started working on a spring grab vault.  We also worked out something i haven't seen before, syncro vaulting.

the day's big tricks are all freeze framed at the end, they are in order:
Zan - split kick vault
XS - sideways double spring grab
XS - split kick vault
XS - backflip
XS and Zan, syncro split kick vault
XS - spring grab vault
SignalPAD - vault
XS - split kick over a planter

a few nice bails on the end too

Dude, i hope that doesn't happen to me!   =\

wear your wrist guards then

they don't prevent all wrist/arm injuries.

true, but they're better than nothing

welcome, i think there are some people around Chicago do a search
339  Powerising / Videos / Re: Activating stiff springs on: August 31, 2008, 01:41:25 AM
you're practically bottoming out the t's stick with them, good vid, the only thing i'd improve is the timing of your arms isn't quite synced with your jump, get that timing right and you'll be getting a bit more height.

as for flips, you might be able to get one around, but it would be close
340  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: Poweriser Records on: August 30, 2008, 02:01:19 PM
should we give sprog "lowest landed front flip"

and me "lowest landed backflip"

don't think anyone should attempt to beat these records, they just happen by accident

The damn bocks are all spraypainted, so it's hard to tell, but on close inspection during their video, those are definitely Flying Locust hoooves.  So both speedjumper and Skyrunner are lying.

speedjumper are flying locusts

but i don't really care what model they were, it was good publicity for bocking that's the important thing.
