either of those look like they should be fine, but i'll defer to the people that acutally have the calff cuffs.

cause some people don't have access to digital cameras or camcorders ET, give him a break, its the honor system here.
3064  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: bags on: April 13, 2007, 09:43:05 PM
you can also find your own not purpose built bag, big duffle bags work, i found a bag intended for baseball bats that's ifts my bocks perfectly
3065  Powerising / Videos / Re: Take a Bow on: April 13, 2007, 09:36:52 PM
Looking good guys, boldermonkey is looking good for only a few weeks bocking, glad to see ollie finally got some footage of his recent tricks, quality stuff
3066  Powerising / Competitions / Re: 7LeagueBoots New Moves Competition 1st April - 1st June on: April 13, 2007, 07:58:14 PM
you can do it better than that ollie, I usually grab the top of my foot when i do it, not the bottom, don't want to grab something sharp under the foot plate. but its a cool trick and fun to do
3067  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: !!! STRAPS !!! on: April 13, 2007, 07:56:43 PM
Dom hasn't been active in a long time, i wouldn't count on him to get your straps, check ebay and local snowboard shops.
3068  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Need Help on what to buy on: April 13, 2007, 07:31:54 PM
well you're 63kg so m70 is what your right for, but we always recomend going one wieght bracket up, so M80 is prolly what you wanna do, as the only think currently available in the US is PoweriZers.  If you wait a little while you could get PoweriSers for about the same price, prolly wanna get the 70-90's, they might be stiffer, but might give you better hieght in the long run
3069  Powerising / Videos / Re: 1sts flips on: April 13, 2007, 05:03:02 PM
Nice flips tripp, very impressive, i take it you have some previous flipping training?
you added the same video twice so i removed one for you so people don't download both thinking they're different.

athoul mp4 is quicktime, but if you add them to youtube it'll allow embeding and the thumnail in the top of the thread and the sidebar will work
3070  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: skip springs on powerisers? on: April 13, 2007, 02:50:56 PM
there is no tutorial on how to do it, if that's what you're looking for, there are some old post saying it can be done, ask martin for instructions is you're best bet, but he said there's no drilling or compilcated things, just unbolt one spring and bolt on the new one.
3071  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: POWERSKIPS ARE NOT THAT EXPENSIVE on: April 13, 2007, 02:29:41 PM
we know they don't cost thousands of pounds, that's velocity stilts, but as a majority of the users here are still in school $1200 is still well out of our budget for a toy.
3072  Powerising / Injuries / Re: bad back on: April 13, 2007, 01:21:09 PM
back problems are serious so if this persists go to a doc.  If not, its prolly an extreme case of bockers back, sore back from getting used to bocks.
3073  Everything Else / Introductions / Re: Hello from Durham, NC, USA!! on: April 13, 2007, 03:23:57 AM
welcome, good that you've found the mods, and always good to see the US contingent of bockers growing.
3074  Powerising / Injuries / Re: Calf Strap Rubbing & Bruising on: April 13, 2007, 12:33:32 AM
this is a common problem, the best way around it, is to get some kneepads that go all the way around your knee, it protects your skin from abrasion and i find they are more comfortable.
3075  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: skip springs on powerisers? on: April 12, 2007, 03:43:19 PM
it can be done, martin has some old threads about it, use the search box and look for them
