all of those sites go back to xtremeimportz.com  he just made a seperate site for every non-patented country he could find, no harm in that, cause none of them are patent protected.  Yeah you'll prolly get screwed by taxes and crap but he's not gonna tell you that.

Velocity stilts and powerskips are the same spring and frame?

From my understanding, stiltwerks redesigned their stilts for military purposes, using different materials.

If they were the same, I don't see how Velocity stilts could be 4.5 pounds each and Powerskips could be 6 lbs each.

Where does the extra 2 lbs come from? (not being sarcastic, seriosly interested)

stiltwerks takes out the knee bars and replaces them with cuffs (removing about half the bar in weight), takes off the big yellow binding and puts on smaller (lighter) binding straps, they also custom build them to the size of the buyer so any excess material that is normally there to allow adjustment for different sized users such as extra length on the knee bars can be removed.  they're only taking a pound and a half off, its not hard to see that from just the knee bar and bindings

from the looks of xtremeimportz's page about the new models it looks like they're just holding off on the new models till they get it right, it says the higher models will not be available till later, i think it says by august or something but who knows if that'll actually hold true.

xphub seem to have dealt with other peoples issues fairly well, i dunno how they're doing on their parts supply though so it'll proly take a while if they don't just send you a new stilt.  I'm gonna check mine out when i get home to make sure they don't have this problem, they haven't felt wobbly yet so i think mine are alright.

Pin, if you want an event for people to win your straps, what about some kind of 'reverse limbo' similar to how people do height training, last person in gets em? Smiley  I'm sure you could find/someone could bring, some appropriate things to make a jump and make it safe with.

why reverse limbo, bocking limbo would be hilarious, and enough people would fall over that pin would be happy.

We have a family trip planned to Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia in August.  It's a huge preserved town from the colonial times with town folk in character and colonial-type events.  Very authentic.  When they ask where we have traveled from, I'm just going to say we're from the future.  lol.

I've been there, it was alright, a little to ye olde for me.
2292  Powerising / Problems / Re: Stiff Springs on: July 04, 2007, 10:00:50 PM
Yeah as people said, after getting a 2nd pair i now believe its all about technique, i got my first par and couldn't get good height for a few weeks but i was getting massive air my first day with my second pair, and they had the same weight minimum.   You just have to learn to bock before you can get the big air.
2293  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: Chk out my pimped up bocks! on: July 04, 2007, 06:50:18 PM
carbon fiber is good to use in springs when its made right, and cheaply is not right when it comes to carbon fiber.
