i've used them in the winter when its below freezing, didn't really seem to affect them.  Theoretically speaking, colder things are more brittle so it's technically more likely to break them in the cold, but i think fiberglass should beable to take it.  There are pics around of swebounce jumping with snow in the background so its definately doable.

Wish I could of made it to this. I live in Tennessee so it's not to far off. Alas, work is a pain~

Hmmm, anyone in Tennessee want to bock Nashville?  Cheesy

I think we might be having a North Carolina meet in the winter.
127  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: need help deciding on: October 20, 2008, 08:10:30 PM
from the sounds of it darf you need to cut the bolt off your pj's, just get a cutting wheel in a dremel tool and you'll be all set, pick up a new bolt, new bushings, some s-rex springs and a set of cuffs and you'll be good to go.  I'm a big fan of the PR 08's but they need some mods to keep the frames from wobbling.

i've thought about something like this in the past, not a bad idea
129  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: SOCK TYPES on: October 20, 2008, 06:44:58 PM
~1.5 tubes of regular superglue per hoof and it holds really well

I'm currently using a section of tire cut to the size of the hoof and super glued in place, its holding up great, much nicer looking than a wrap around sock too.
131  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Poweriser 08 on: October 20, 2008, 05:42:32 PM
bars are fine if you have average sized legs, if you've got small legs, or large legs cuffs are the way to go cause you can get the custom fit of adjusting the width of the cuff to your leg.  I've got Poweriser 08's and have made a few small mods to make the frame last longer and I'm very happy with them.
132  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: will i be able to? on: October 20, 2008, 05:34:23 PM
can people flip on them? yes.
will you beable to? that depends on your weight/physical ability/ammount of time you practice

Putting on bocks won't make you a crazy acrobat, it requires a lot of practice and skill.

A video is a piece of art, not everyone is gonna like it.  Do I like the song rav chose? not particularly.  Am I capable of watching the vid and remembering the great day i had without whining about the choice of music? most definately yes.  Rav made the video and he liked it and wanted to share with us, that's great, for those of you that feel the only thing you have to say about it is that you don't like the music, you've missed the point of the video, watch all videos on mute if you don't want to hear the music.
