1  Powerising / Problems / Re: Question about knee loop on PR 7090s on: May 13, 2008, 01:45:36 AM
Thanks all,

I did have them on the proper feet  Grin

I also adjusted them down a bit and was able to get them a little straighter.  Now I realize they are too loose.  I bought the stuff (mostly) to make the no-sew pinhead type straps.  Hopefully that will get me sorted.

Oh yeah... forgot to mention that part Smiley

I got bruises on the insides of my knees (about 1/4 of the way back and just below the knee cap.) Not too bad, but more than I would have liked.

I noticed when I was taping my springs yesterday that my knee loops seem to be skewed "in" towards the longer part of the foot plate.  Is this normal, or am I looking at them wrong? Huh

Or am I a total noob and have them on the wrong feet!   Angry

Here's a couple of pics to show what I mean...

Thanks,

Thanks guys,  when I looked at the first part of the video, I thought I looked like a complete ass Smiley

Yeah, I was able to start walking right away but was hesitant since I couldn't find my knee pads last night - and I just HAD to try them out!

I don't mind LOL, but please no ROFLMAO  Smiley

I asked my friend to take some video of me walking so I could get feedback, but I discovered she didn't quite have the hang of the camera...

Of course, shortly after that was taken, almost back home, I fell Sad  The wrist guard caught the brunt, but I skinned the edge of my hand a bit... gloves are next on the list!

Yeah, he's definitely one also.  He's the one who emailed me and told me what they were called.  Not sure about the guy with the turquoise fur...

It's probably because I had a pro-looking camera and a You Tube t-shirt on!  People were coming up to me all day asking "Is this going to be on You Tube?"

The juggler was a little annoying since I was trying to get the "real rabbits" that were jumping, but - oh well, it's that kind of event.

Thanks for all the comments and good wishes!

Thanks Mairs,

I figure I be getting that response from people who've never seen bocks before Wink

I was sitting here reading through Zipp's trials with his bocks when I saw the delivery truck out the window... I now have my brand spanking new PR7090s!  I bought a tire yesterday and will run out and get an inner tube for armour before I get started.

Now where did I stash those rollerblade pads and that bike helmet...

Maybe I'll be brave enough to be like Lukey and video my first steps  Wink

I can't wait to get started!!!

I was watching the parade during a local arts festival and saw these crazy rabbits... one of them was on bocks (that I could see) and another told me what they were and how to find out more.  I started researching and bid on a pair on ebay the next day!
