Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: 7 league boots , raptor or T rex?

If this helps my body weight is 85KG and I have T Rex boots. I find it hard to bottom out the spring at my weight so I think the T Rex will be to firm for you. I'm going to try and get a short video of some of my jumps on the T Rex on at the weekend and this might show you. I'm not an expert but getting better. Merry Christmas to all Bockers

Powerising / Problems / Re: In Need of new Bushes

Yes you are right, the bearings allow more of the energy to go into the spring. When you first get the risers there is a loud honking sound when you first use them. This is caused by metal on metal rubbing together by putting oil onto the joints the friction is reduced. The bearings make the stilts quieter and smoother but the spring needs to be man enough to take the full force, so people that have added bearings to there risers have sometimes also had to change the spring. Then it's not cost effective in my opinion.

As a business man myself I respect your commitment to your product and I think your branding and website is very professional. In my opinion your branding is better than both PoweriZer and Pro-jump so good luck to you for your business.

Swebounce, Please can you tell me the technique for performing back flips. I have found a good place to train with crash mats, but I would like your advice if possible. I am getting good height with my 7's but am not sure how the weight of the Bocks will effect the back flip. Thankyou

Hi Steve, It is good that you have cleared this up and I wish you success with your business. I have a couple of differant stilt brands that I use. I have a pair of M90 stilts that have Fly Jumper on the calf patch. Do you do the brass bushes that go into the frame (spare parts) as mine have worn out. Thankyou

Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: projump.co.uk WTF??

The height you get on your jumps depends on a number of differant factors not just the type of stilts. To get the big jumps you need to have good jumping technique, be very strong to fully activate the springs compared to body weight. If you have the strength / fitness, technique then you will eventually need a jumping stilt that can handle the extra force you are producing, most pro's will use either Powerskips or Velocity stilts but they are very expensive as you would expect, 7's are more affordable with many of the Pro features. There is no golden rule regarding height.

Hi Tom, there's nothing wrong with Pro Jumps you have good quality stiits. The reason I got the 7's was for the followng reasons.
1. Needle bearings fitted to every moving part of the frame. 2. The spring is more durable and a bit more powerful in the way it returns jumping energy and has a very thick protective covering. 3. The general build quality and fittings are better.
Having said all that the cost is more to the tune of £65 so you've got to way it all up. I'm addicted to the sport and just love risers of all types.

I think Pro Jump are the cheapest place around to buy the Chinese Fly Jumper style stilts. I am sure they are exactly the same as the PoweriZer brand. I have a pair of PoweriZer M90 and a pair of 7Leagueboots T Rex. The M90's have been great to get started on and Pro Jump are selling them much cheaper than I paid. However the 7's are now my main Bocks as now i'm a bit more confident i'm getting better height with my jumps and they feel alot more solid.

Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: Introduction and explanation of US PoweriZer sales

Personaly I wouldn't consider buying Bocks from Ebay unless they were from an established campany with full contact details advertised. In the UK Ebay has recieved alot of negative press recently for selling fakes, stolen goods and poor selling practises etc.etc. It has been shown that even customer feedback is often faked! I realise that this does not apply to every Ebay seller and some are very good. But my opinion is if your into Bocking as a sport buy from a real authorised company who can give you customer support, warranty, spare parts and advice if you need it. Just my opinion for what its worth.

Hi everyone, I had this week off work so decieded to take advantage and get some serious bocking time in. My friend shot some nice video of me running and getting some good jumps on my 7Leagueboots. But I can't capture the video footage onto the windows moviemaker on my laptop. Can anyone help me, the camera is a model JVC GR-DX25EK. I no longer have the driver discs for the cam. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
