Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: stilts wholesaler

You're going to open a shop but you cant work a caps lock key and cant find a wholesaler without asking on a forum?
Thats funny Locky.. Your wasted on stilts, should be on the stage.. Well i have to say i know more people that have lost money trying to sell stilts in volume than have made anything.. My advice to you and anyone would be make sure you've got very deep pockets to start with then fill those deep pockets on regular basis with more money.. The profits arn't great and stock value is high.. Only sell em if you absolutely love the sport, enjoy it, and you can afford to loose a few quid for your passion.. That may change in the future, i hope it does, but at the moment thats deffinately the case, no doubt, i can think of 100 easier ways to make money, and your gonna have to trust me that i really do know what i'm talking about.

answer for .... coachgeo, Sprog, Zeri
Tell me ... it's jealousy or envy? Because it is true that when you look at your last video there is really something to be jealous!
PS: You perfectly mastered the shooting and without shaking and more, and I think what impresses me most is the master of your visual effects, what happiness to see your critics in action!
Well as i've said before, posting these videos is a big willy competition.. If you can't take the critics don't post the video... Not everyone is going to say your the gods of Bocking.. I say nice skills but everyones got an opinion, be big enough to accept it.

I really like the video, great skill, i can't believe how much the bar has been raised in the last year or so in Bocking.. The skill level is awesome but in the back of my mind i can't help thinking if some of this extreme stuff / advertising is putting off more people than its drawing into the sport.. Thats why i think events like Capital Bocking are so important.. The term "Keeping it real" everyone together at differant skill levels enjoying the sport is what i like to see, but that may just be me, probably is... Some of these vids look like who's got the biggest willy competition to me, but that is extreme sport i suppose.

Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: 7Leagues vs. Poweriser Classic?

Priest, do you have 7's, or just sell them :s, sorry bit confused , cos i'd have to disagree with you there, i loved my raptors, and i could get great height on them, obviously i can get more on my S-rex's, but still with the raptors i was getting great height, i weigh about 60Kg, at 54 Scythe should be able to get even higher. As a beginner he is right in the middle of the 7's weight bracket, i think T-rex's would be to strong for him... Totally agree with what your saying, alot of lighter people really underestimate just how good the Raptor spring is. I've seen alot of people get much higher on Raptors at the correct body weight than bockers sweating away trying to activate a stiffer spring there just too light for..

Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: Umm, what are these?

If you had read the whole topic, you would have found that Funrisers are Austrian with a few parts made by an American hang glider company. Not Far East, and they actually appear to be of at least not-bad quality.

Did read the whole thread, they are definately a Far East imported stilt, maybe the Pro model has a few small mods done in Austria. No one in Europe would go to the trouble of manufacturering a new type of stilt without having first discussed it with the patent holder. It would cost at least £50,000 to get moulds, materials and even a basic factory set up to even get started. No one would consider manufacturing a stilt from scratch in Austria (under £500) because its just to expensive to do so in Europe. Argue all you want but i know i'm right, no doubt, 100% certain.. Don't take it the wrong way i'm in a position where i know these things without having to guess.

Totally agree that the Boecks should protect their interests and patent especially as the Funriser company is based on the door step of Alan Sport. Its nice to see the patent holder protect the interests of the authorised brands that pay good money to have the legal right to sell this product. I think you'll find that the Funriser is another brand imported from a Far East manufacturer, they will probably reappear under various brand names as dealers buy them, similar to the situation with the Fly Jumper brands. I personally think its great that the illegal copy products are difficult to sell particulary on Ebay (the biggest illegal flee market in the world IMO) I hope this product and sport has a chance to develop through a professional network of resellers rather than a few chancers wanting to make a quick buck.

Their bocks look interesting, I do hope that they come to an agreement rather than get forced to shut down.
Well i've seen it before a few times in the stilt business. People see this product and think its a golden ticket for the future. I know of a few individuals who spent thousands of pounds importing stilts without looking into the patent agreement and got really burned, i'm talking third degree here. About a month ago a company that deals in bankrupt stock offered me 500 pairs of Skyrunners that were already in the UK for £45 a pair through contact info from my site, they had no idea they were illegal to sell.. I told them and my guess is they are doing the rounds now at the car boot sales.. The Funrisers actually look like they have some good features, i've got nothing against them but if the patant agreement isn't in place its Goodnight Sweetheart.

I agree with Locky the site looks quiet fresh.. Its a shame because i doubt it will be online very long, my contacts have told me that they are not authorised to sell this product by the patent holder. Illegal sellers in Germany don't normally last more than a couple of weeks when the legal process starts to happen.

I think your all banging your heads against a brick wall with the copyright thing. The Chinese manufacturers don't really recognise copyright. Its more of a cultural thing, they look to the west for images and styles in most things not just Bocking, they then apply what they find to marketing and manufacture. If anyone on here invented anything really good or took a great photo or image they would use it or copy it. You can discuss it all you want until you blue in the face but it wont change. I've always found the Chinese people very nice to deal with most of the time, friendly and honest. But there is a big cultural differance in what is considered acceptable behaviour. Anyway thats what i think.. I will now resume my normal level of pointless posts and friendly, shollow sexist convo's in the chat room..
