It's great having this community here, as no one in my area has bocks. Guess I'll have to get some friends into it so I don't end up as the lonely bocker!

Use the forum search function and put in a few big places local to you, Colorado brings up loads of people.

If by loads you mean 4 people, than yeah, im all set! LOL Most of the Co folks are north of me. I defenitely plan to hopefully meet up with some in a little while. I live in the Springs (great name for a town to a bocker, no?) and hopefully I can get some people here locally involved. One step at a time though as I've only been out 2 days on mine.

Skate Shoes cept, i have killed my vans from bocking in them, they are not held together with tape...

LOL! I have a place across the street from my house that sells DC's for $30 a pair. I figure I can afford that when this pair dies!!!

Wow! I'd love to join you in DC, but it won't be this year. My work has a strict no vacations in August policy (one of the downsides of working sales for a major cellular co.), however, I should have a new position next year, so I won't miss it!

OK, so I tried my skate shoes, and man what a difference. I am having so much fun, but I can't wait till my legs get used to this. One hour now and my legs feel like wet noodles!! Woohoo!!! My bocks got here today. Actually they got here this morning while I was showering. As I exited my garage to go to work, I see a big package waiting on my doorstep. Needless to say, work proved to be WAY too long, so I went home early (it's good to be the boss!). I spent about an hour and a half acclimating my self to the bocks. I got up and found my balance, and then proceeded to walk till my legs felt like jello. I can't wait for tomorrow!!! I do have a question, though. What kind of shoes are people wearing while bocking? I ask because I was wearing a pair of Nike running shoes, and the toe straps really started to hurt my feet after a while. Maybe I'll try my DC's tomorrow and see if they are more comfy. So PP Bockers, what kind of kicks do you wear while bocking?
