3  Powerising / Videos / Re: high drop on: October 05, 2008, 08:14:04 PM
Regardless of records, that's still impressive. I have a hard enough time getting over my fear of jumping down 3ft ( which is silly, since I jump higher on ground).

Awesome. I mean, what do you say. Great work. I love these vids as they are so motivating for me.

Welcome! Hope you enjoy the sport. Take your time and wear your gear. As for the spring covers, I bought a 6 pack of athletic tape at Dick's Sporting Goods. $12 and there is enough to cover 4 sets of bocks. Have fun and congrats on getting married.
6  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: I love BBQs, also...Should we use Kilograms, Stones or Pounds? on: September 30, 2008, 10:53:46 PM
Kg's. Even tho in in the US, it's much easier. LB's have always been strange, and all I know about stones is that I like to skip them on a lake.

I for one don't want to see this site go, but i don't know how much longer I can take this. Stinks, because I only found this site in June and I'm just starting to get to know all the cool people here. Sad

That is pretty sweet height. Loved were he almosted kicked the guy who was standing there for reference.
9  Powerising / Videos / Re: Hd.Net - "Top Five Green Innovations" on: September 26, 2008, 04:20:37 AM
Ha! I guess it'd be better to be bow legged on bocks rather than knock kneed. Was a cool bit for tv.
10  Powerising / Modifying Powerisers / Re: replacing bindings - boots or better bindings? on: September 20, 2008, 04:37:27 PM
As far as the shoes go, get some skate shoes. Also, the first few times you have bocks on, your feet will hurt a bit. Partly because they are not used to being strapped down, and partly because as a new bocker, you'll have a tendency to lean forwards a bit, instead of keeping your weight on your heels. It'll pass.
11  Powerising / Problems / Re: Running in powerisers on: September 16, 2008, 05:20:47 PM
I love his jacket. Makes me think of the old Knight Rider show and David Hasselhoff. Good vids for beginners though.
12  Powerising / Problems / Re: either am unlucky or the black springs arent very good! on: September 16, 2008, 05:06:04 PM

13  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: Things to do when you can't bock on: September 16, 2008, 01:34:12 AM
Love the name Super Deathball. Made me think of that episode of Friends were they came up with Super Fireball. I laughed so hard the milk from my cereal came out my nose!
14  Everything Else / Anything Else Powerisers / Re: best fabric(iyo) for pants(for stilts) on: September 15, 2008, 02:56:58 PM
Now who would have thunk that a guy named Eglish-tailor would have tips on this? LOL
