Thanks Naz, Kiola, Dom,  it looks like they could be 90s then, but i will try again tonight, if still no improvement, it looks like i may have to get some lower 80s marking,

if you knew why i was worried you would understand, i love my bocking and i don't want to be out again, many thanks for your comments and advice.
62  Powerising / Problems / Re: Black springs on: April 01, 2008, 02:42:39 PM
ah, thanks for that Martin, so it looks like they could be 90s,

what is that about durability?
63  Powerising / Problems / Re: Black springs on: April 01, 2008, 02:27:16 PM
thanks Athoul, i will try again tonight, i did put them thrugh some stick on Sunday  and they would normaly have worn at that, but these havn't eased yet, i havn't used this black spring before, its my knee im worried about, but my other 80s bottom out with nearly every jump, as you can see in that vid that was put up last week,

is the black spring, tougher than the other, has anyone els commented on this,?, chears.

64  Powerising / Problems / Re: Black springs on: April 01, 2008, 02:15:29 PM
i do have the other 80s which are softer and easy on my knee, Mike was there and he has the black spring 81 marking, i didn't try them on, but i did push them down with my hands and but i couldn't realy tell much,

nobody els has them, but as i say, my other 80s are much softer, but they are getting too soft now, thats why i got the new ones, but they do feel tough,

do you think they could be 90s? with that mark on 89?
65  Powerising / Problems / Black springs on: April 01, 2008, 02:05:49 PM
I know this may be a daft question, but it has been a while since i have been in full training, l normaly use 80s and last week i used the black spring 80s for the first time, i found that they where quite tougher and i had to use more energy which tired me quicker,

the guys in the gym will prob tell you that i was moaning a little, ha ha, comenting on how tough they are,

they are marked 89, normaly i would ignore that marking,?
also do they take longer to wear in,?

i could do wth some help on this as i don't want to set my knee off again.

I wish i had of been doing that 2 yrs ago,  but its no secret my knee was bad thrughout last year, its not 100% but boy oh boy, it feels good,,
the 50 in a row was actualy 53, and all it was is we had to do a trick to match the no of years in our age, just a bit of fun, but i am the oldest so i had the hard job, i was knackered, but i didn't let them see it, ha ha. no big deal.

and yes i agrea, the vid is realy cool, i like it, well done.

Sprog, the guys are fine thanks, don.t forget though, we had nothing to do with that post, and now i hope it will be resolved,

hey sprog you like iron man, have you seen my new costume, you can come and try it on.
70  Powerising / Videos / Re: Powerbocking Scouts @ Manchester on: March 20, 2008, 02:17:33 PM
thanks for that niki, i did ask for it to be sorted out, i have now spoken to the young man in question, and he is not one of our team,

someone posing as a team member posted a remark that was not true, he does train with us from time to time, and has shown the energy required to join us, but he must now show respect and earn the right to be part of any team.

i can't help it if someone choses to call themeselves whatever, and i am bitter about thev way he did it, this forum like others, gives freedom of speach, but there is a point when it has to stop.

i just want to say again, that we had nothing to do with the posting of the remarks that were made, and we as a team are discusted at it.
71  Powerising / Videos / Re: Powerbocking Scouts @ Manchester on: March 20, 2008, 01:20:15 PM
Thankyou for puting it that way, but stil, it will be sorted out, and i do feel it for those involved.
72  Powerising / Videos / Re: Powerbocking Scouts @ Manchester on: March 20, 2008, 05:15:57 AM
I am stuck for words, i had no idea that this was going on, this has brought about discrace to my name, i havn't spoken to the rest of the team yet as it 5 am, but i will later today.

if this has caused harm or distress to any member on this forum, then i will close my account,

the actions of the scouts and other groups that took part in the charity walk was for just a few reasons, the sport, and pride to do something for others, and feel good about what they had achieved,

no one has the right to name themselves as part of an organisation, they have to earn the right,
and i am afraid that on this occasion some one is trying to run before they can walk.

i can't think of anything more to say at the moment, im in shock that someone has done this in my name.

74  Everything Else / General Talk / BEAT THE WORLD RECORD on: July 15, 2007, 10:25:01 PM
After watching the Jesus vids, and reading some comments i asked if anybody wanted to have a go in the UK, i personaly thing the guy is nuts and a great performer to be able to do what he does takes skill and dedication, and trust in body and machine ie his bocks.
it would be great if he came himself to give us a chance to watch it in the flesh, but in the UK we do have people who can perform, i havnt seen the full pitch done yet but its only a matter of time,
so pm me if you truly think you can put your money were your mouth is, and perform the record attempt, it will be 26 7 07 at Featherstone Stadium Yorkshire, its a rugby game, a small stadium, but SKY TV WILL FILM THE ATTEMPT,
THIS SHOULD BE SEEN AS A PROMOTION FOR THE SPORT AND NOT A BRAND NAME
i have been aproached by a Goverment body to run classes in schools, this is for the sport of bocking, i have accepted to undertake this and i must say its not for the money as i wont get any, its for the love of it.
anyway back to the record, on the day me Zeb Dawsome and some of Guys and Girls will be ther, we are all allowed on the pitch so how can Sky TV mis us, and the attempt if it happens will be at Half time, only apply if you realy think you can do it, i await your pm, chears.
75  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: GUINNESS WORLD RECORD ON JUMPING STILTS-7/4/07 GetJumpingStilts.com on: July 12, 2007, 01:23:33 AM
That was some great, amazing vid, if anybody wants to have a go at doing that i have a date and venue and sky TV to film it, 26th july Featherstone Stadium, plenty of exposure, but only if you think you can do it, full length of a pitch,
i will be ther with Zeb, Dawsome, Claire, and some of our new girls, so if you want to have a go pm me, lets see if anyone in the UK can do that,
if anyone does want to do it it will take place at half time of the game, and it will be ON THE PITCH, its not a big Stadium but Sky Tv WILL film it,
just one thing, if you want to go ahead with this please no time wasters, it would be a shame if someone did it just for a laugh and put the good name of our sport at risk, i would like to think of this as an advert for the sport.
