1  Powerising / Injuries / my Head and Hip on: May 12, 2008, 12:27:04 PM
Well, i fell realy bad on Friday, my own fault, vaulted over a 5ft wall, then coming back over i lost consentration, clipped my feet, went down head first on to a stone wall, then smashed my hip on the floor,

just been for xray, and s--t, iv got a little fracture in my hip, and a cut on my head,

i had all my usual protection on so it could have been a lot worse but i wish i'd had my impact shorts on, i'v got lazy and stoped wearing them, so its my own fault.

Yea me too, and yep i wear the body armour top most of the time, i have a large boys size, which makes it skin tight, this keeps it from bobing about when im jumping, its realy light, and i don't realize its on me after a while, it gives full uper body protection and i swear by it, you do need gloves though, and a helmet would keep your head safe, but i don't wear one as it gets in the way, but i should realy.

LOL, i didn't think of that, but he will have to get rid of a rather large bear belly first.
7  Everything Else / Powerising Stories / How strange on: April 02, 2008, 12:53:39 PM
Today,i thought i would go for a jog to try again and wear my new spring in, anyway, after about 20 mins i needed a drink, and the only thing near was a pub, so i went in and got red bull, i was walking out thrugh the bear garden when to my horror, three men in there 40s started giving me verbal, it was so discusting, i went over and one said if i was 10 years younger i would show you how its done, i laughed at him, and said i am at least 10 years older that you, and there was children in the bear garden and i said to the men that they should be ashamed of themselves for their actions and foul mouths, they realy were discusting for there age,

any way, one then called me something realy bad, and i lost it, so i showed them a few tricks, and ended it by landing on the table. but i knocked his pint over, oops, so i jumped of and ran as fast as i could,

i got home, took my stilts of, and went back, i thought i had better buy him a drink at least, to my shock, they said sorry for there actions, and one said he was going to buy a pr of bocks, and come to the gym to train, How strange.

10  Powerising / Problems / Re: Black springs on: April 01, 2008, 02:59:37 PM
Thanks Naz, Kiola, Dom,  it looks like they could be 90s then, but i will try again tonight, if still no improvement, it looks like i may have to get some lower 80s marking,

if you knew why i was worried you would understand, i love my bocking and i don't want to be out again, many thanks for your comments and advice.
11  Powerising / Problems / Re: Black springs on: April 01, 2008, 02:42:39 PM
ah, thanks for that Martin, so it looks like they could be 90s,

what is that about durability?
12  Powerising / Problems / Re: Black springs on: April 01, 2008, 02:27:16 PM
thanks Athoul, i will try again tonight, i did put them thrugh some stick on Sunday  and they would normaly have worn at that, but these havn't eased yet, i havn't used this black spring before, its my knee im worried about, but my other 80s bottom out with nearly every jump, as you can see in that vid that was put up last week,

is the black spring, tougher than the other, has anyone els commented on this,?, chears.

13  Powerising / Problems / Re: Black springs on: April 01, 2008, 02:15:29 PM
i do have the other 80s which are softer and easy on my knee, Mike was there and he has the black spring 81 marking, i didn't try them on, but i did push them down with my hands and but i couldn't realy tell much,

nobody els has them, but as i say, my other 80s are much softer, but they are getting too soft now, thats why i got the new ones, but they do feel tough,

do you think they could be 90s? with that mark on 89?
14  Powerising / Problems / Black springs on: April 01, 2008, 02:05:49 PM
I know this may be a daft question, but it has been a while since i have been in full training, l normaly use 80s and last week i used the black spring 80s for the first time, i found that they where quite tougher and i had to use more energy which tired me quicker,

the guys in the gym will prob tell you that i was moaning a little, ha ha, comenting on how tough they are,

they are marked 89, normaly i would ignore that marking,?
also do they take longer to wear in,?

i could do wth some help on this as i don't want to set my knee off again.
15  Powerising / Videos / Re: Basic Tricks Vid on: March 26, 2008, 02:46:33 PM
I wish i had of been doing that 2 yrs ago,  but its no secret my knee was bad thrughout last year, its not 100% but boy oh boy, it feels good,,
the 50 in a row was actualy 53, and all it was is we had to do a trick to match the no of years in our age, just a bit of fun, but i am the oldest so i had the hard job, i was knackered, but i didn't let them see it, ha ha. no big deal.

and yes i agrea, the vid is realy cool, i like it, well done.
