Or to sum up what Joe posted.
"I'm entirely mental and like driving ridiculous journeys and getting very little sleep"
545  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: Anyone panic buying carrots? on: May 14, 2008, 10:53:51 PM
What does panic buying carrots achieve? Other than good night vision.
Causing the UK supply of carrots to dissapear until the next day. No point at all other than being totally random.
No I'm not taking part as I'll be at work and I have better things to spend money on than Carrots.

Yes, as R springs are softer than X springs. Get the stronger, stiffer ones... Type X.

after bocking for about 3 miles I could bottom out with a 2 -3 foot bounce !?
I can bottom mine out on the 3rd or 4th jump with no warm up (and mine are a year old). So you're not bottoming out badly DK.

548  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: I dont really get it! Which model is original? on: May 13, 2008, 11:44:23 PM
germany is a poweriser patented country. how can the 7leagues be sold in that country? i dont really believe that the patent holder has an agreement with 7 leagues.
what u say is, poweriser is the mother of all those boots and every company has to take care about patent violations.
Germany is a POWERSKIP patented country. The inventor (Mr. Boeck) of powerskip controls who can sell where.
Because of this sellers in patent covered countries (UK, US, some of mainland Europe) need to have an agreement with Mr. Boeck and pay royalties to him on each pair of bocks sold.
What we mean by "Legal" and "Illegal" is that they are sold in agreement with the patent holder or not. If they are not, they are breaking patent laws and are "Illegal".

551  Everything Else / Powerising Stories / Rogue Bocker near Reading on: May 11, 2008, 11:45:02 PM
Found a rogue in bmth tonight!
Got chatting to him, I got a bit cocky when they were talking about the bocks being PR2008s, i went off on a 2007 rant and got called a "professional". From the looks of things he could only walk.
They asked me to go on them so I said ok, even though there were about 12 of them and only me and a mate. Got on the bocks and they were bloody stiff, nasty to bounce on, only got 1-2ft height max. Did a vault and a few jumps, a split kick and a spring grab, then jogged a bit and gave them back.
Turns out he's not from around Dorset but infact is near Reading, so I told him about here so hopefully he might turn up Cheesy

Annoying thing, I was gonna take my bocks tonight then decided against it!
Eventful night though Smiley
552  Powerising / Videos / Re: need more height... bigger bocks. on: May 11, 2008, 02:53:19 PM
and the 7league boots bushings must not be oiled, sprayed, vaselined or the like at all. They have a grease layer which would be damaged with any other grease. (read the manual !!!)
Mine don't Huh
Maybe because they're a year old though Cheesy

Get it right Nick Cheesy

Proper name is 7meilenstiefel Smiley
554  Powerising / Videos / Re: need more height... bigger bocks. on: May 10, 2008, 11:38:19 PM
No. You lubricate them with something like Silicon spray or copper grease or vaseline (recommended by powerskip), but not oil. This is due to the fact it's very runny, makes a hell of a mess and sprays everywhere as soon as you start bouncing. If you look at the photos of me at CB07 repairing ET's bocks you can see how much of a mess they (and my hands) were due to the fact they had been oiled.
