by sheer coincidence some guy was seeling a pair of 70's on the market, you may think who has £135 these days but the guy was selling them for £35, lmao, brand new, he obviously had no idea what they are normally worth.
Nah, I think you just bought a pair of skyrunners, that's all. LOL Cheesy

Sounds like you had a good time though guys, well done Smiley

50  Powerising / Injuries / Re: Who HASN'T Fallen Yet? on: July 12, 2008, 11:09:26 PM
umm well personally i find falling during a trick can be worse than while running, while running yes you face the prospect of sliding along the floor tearing your skin off, but as i proved earlier doing tricks can be bad too.
I've fallen both running and tricking. Running has ALWAYS come out worse as you've got the forward momentum meaning you tumble and slide once you've fallen.

There was a brief exchange of posts on the 'other site'.
What is the obsession with calling it the "other site". There is no rule on here saying you can't link to other bocking forums.

Here's the London meet discussion:

why china factory start promotion the new powerstrider with calf-cuff ? They say in lasted new model in this year?
Haven't seen that at all, there was a post on here by someone called "monster" who is an illegal seller, he was selling powerstriders with poweriSer calf cuffs fitted. But there are NO powerstride calf cuffs.

You're not bocking hard enough unless you fall over
56  Powerising / Problems / Re: Weird springs? on: July 11, 2008, 12:38:19 PM
Yeah, using them does cause them to slowly heat up
57  Powerising / Problems / Re: Weird springs? on: July 11, 2008, 12:31:22 PM
maybe you're just not getting into it so much, or you're more tired sometimes...could be the temperature, but i doubt it
Actually temperature affects them quite a lot, if you put them in a warm place before going out they are a lot more flexible and give better bounce, whereas if they're cold they require a bit more effort to get the same amount of bounce
58  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: Buying links please! on: July 11, 2008, 12:30:16 PM

59  Purchasing Powerisers / Where to Buy / Re: Where i can buy the Powerstrider with calf cuff ? on: July 11, 2008, 12:28:18 PM
There is NO calf-cuff model available. That may change in the future but at this time we have no information to confirm that.
Thanks for clearing this up Cantallian, I was 99% sure the ones advertised earlier this month were fake/using poweriSer cuffs, rather than some new FlyingLocust cuff design Smiley

Yeah, we'll see how Cardiff goes and decide from there
