Where does your knee bar touch your leg?

me knee bar is underneath my knee. like at the top of my shin bone.

Ive had my m60's for 2 weeks almost and ive hardly used them, because right above my knees are hurting, like ive strained them and it hurts me to put alot of weight on them, anybody else had this ?
