16  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Best Model (please help) on: April 23, 2008, 01:58:35 AM
I don't think he has a lot of money
so I think changing the springs can solve his problem with little money spent

Can you change the springs from poweriZer to a stable spring like Powerskip? and money.. i dont know.. its gonna be interesting.. gotta get a job first.. and to answer you previously.. i live near the san juan islands in washington.

There is no straight answer  Tongue

7leagues are great stilts for their price as they give great bounce and quality for only 240 quid, however if you really want the absolute best model then you should be looking at skips which are around 700 pounds.

Where abouts are you from? There might be people/groups local to you, and you could go along to a meet and try out different stilts that people have and choose which one you like best.

Hope this helps a bit

well thank you for the quick reply, and by not alot of money to screw around with, I meant that I dont want to buy a pair that doesnt work and have to buy yet another pair to see what works better... but what is quid and pounds?? Im from the us, and to tell you the truth I hate it.. its so hard to talk to other countries because we dont use metric or pounds..
thank you again.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!! THIS IS A DESPERATE PLEA. I NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET!
First of all, I'm sorry if this has been said or I am just too blind to look for what I need.
but, I'm very upset right now because I have been reading some of the posts like PoweriZer vs. PoweriSer, and found that I may have bought the wrong model.
I need somone who really knows what they are talking about with this, so please help.
Number one, I own a Pair of PoweriZers, and I bottom out regurlarly.
I weigh 196 Pounds and I am 6 foot 4. I am 16 and don't know If I am going to grow any more.
The PoweriZers I bought were supposed to be for 190-210, but Someone said the Chinese version(PoweriZer) had innacurate weight class.
I dont have alot of money to waste on trying to buy and sell alot of models to see which one is right for me, so I need to know...

What is the absolute best model? I have very good technique and want more bounce to be able to flip and get more Height.
I have heard 7 league is good, but I need a straight answer.. someone please help.. I'm Entirely stressed out!!!

just a word of caution, even though i know that it has been said.
i tried to do a backflip on a metal spring mattress and got not one but two springs 3cm deep into the arches of my feet. dont go with a metal spring! i also own a futon and its not that hard to move, the only thing is that i would recommend extra pillows and blankets on it. i do frontflips on it often, but not with powerisers seeing as how it is my bed. another thought is to find some tall grass... 1 or more feet if you can, and do it on that. i have belly flopped into it and its only a little painful. i thought it would be worse...
hope this helps..

hey guys I have size 15 shoes and Its not a problem for me so idk why you guys are constantly lifting your toes, If you just forget about it its not a problem and if you take a spill and you land on your knees it doesnt hurt your feet at all so dont worry and rest easy ( and I wouldnt recommend drilling your foot pads on your powerisers you will only weaken the plates)
