Powerising / UK / Re: OVER 21 bocking meet?

Sounds... kinda pointless. I'm with bmouthbloke - If you wanna meet people for drinking, why mix it with bocking and a) risk getting seriously injured, and b) create rifts in a community that relies on young people to keep it going? You could just ask on the forum who would like to go get drunk with you, and avoid the big stigma of UNDER 21. It only tends to annoy people

I don't think I've ever bottomed them out, no. But I've never tried the crazy sh** like jumping off high things and flipping. Pretty much all my bocking has been running and jumping (though would like to learn tricks and vaults soon)

Bill C does have a point - wearing stuff in bocks is a pain - you don't feel nearly free enough! Plus potentially awesome photos with a bum bag/crazy bulging pockets often look... odd!

Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Rex's hurt :(

Hey,
I've had my T-Rex's a good few months, and they feel okaaay, but I'm seriously considering going back a model to Raptors - for some reason (I'm guessing bad technique?) it really hurts my back and stomach when I put any effort into getting height - it's not like my jump-timing's way off (that feels much worse!), but I'm still getting minimal return and it feels like the springs aren't moving nearly as much as they should be. Weight-wise I'm actually in the middle of the Raptors range, and when I use my bf's Raptors, I don't have the problem at all. I can get waaay better height, and they just feel so much more comfy generally. Balance is miles better etc, and I can get up unaided in them, which I can't do otherwise.
I know everyone says keep up a model, and technique will improve, but it seems like I can learn stuff super-fast on raptors, and when I get back on the Rex's it feels like learning to jump all over again.
Should I stick with the Rex's (and if so, technique advice?!), or could there potentially be a problem with the springs, or should I get Raptors and sell my Rex's - (I already have a potential buyer)?
It's really putting me off bocking at the mo, 'cause it shouldn't feel painful! Advice muuuchly appreciated!

Haha, that's pretty cool! Definitely solves the do-I-carry-stuff-in-pockets-and-risk-trousers-falling-down dilemma Just be careful not to fill it with tools if you're doing flips and stuff. Not sure how centripetal force works from that distance, but if tools fall out mid-flip, that's gonna be a bit of a headache :|

Many sorries if similar has already been posted, but I couldn't find anything...
Does anyone know if there are any bockers around Bristol?
Annoyingly, Dave and I have just moved from Cardiff, where we barely got a chance to meet up with the Welshbockers (coz of moving/finishing Uni etc). But I guess they're probably the closest? I'm thinking we should train up to the Bay again soon if so, but if there's anyone closer who's up for regular meets that'd be awesome...
