1  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Spring strength Vs effort Vs extreme use on: June 30, 2008, 04:27:28 AM
Thank you very much for your replies.  That's answered some of my questions.

I take it that the S-Rex frame is backward compatible with the t-rex springs then?

Do you tire on your s-rexes at your weight Redeemed?

And, Sprog, have you got any clips of those 8ft jumps?!

Hi all, I;ve been lurking here for a few weeks, obsessed with this fantastic art!  From what i've gathered the 7s seem the way to go.

I have a tired old question but in different forms.

I know that for 75kgs the T-Rex is recommended by most people here.  But given my extreme intentions /gymnastics / ability to learn quickly, the S-rex appears to be the better option economically even though much harder to learn on.

My questions are:

1. I know this varies but, just how tiring are the s-rex's in comparison to the t-rex for any one individual.  E.g., 10/20min burnout on s-rex = ? on a t-rex?

2.  How does a lower weight spring handle the more extreme kind of stuff?
I know you can bottom out any spring just by jumping on the spot in the right way, but at 75kg, what kind of actual tricks would be bottoming out this spring?  E.g., could i jump off a 3m platform? Down flights of stairs? etc.

Finally, is the s-rex spring available to buy separately? I can[t find it anywhere.

Thanks for any help guys!

Phil
