31  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Choosing a weight on: July 03, 2008, 08:32:49 AM
I'm also going everywhere with my bucks and in maybe 1 on 10 places, they bar me entrance. I usually ask before entering, and I'm not showing off or sticking in the store, I take what I need and get out to do my show! Tongue I never had trouble, but it's very important you walk very safely, if customer or staff notice your not in balance, they're gonna ask you to leave, and it's kinda crap idea. Wish you good luck!

Yeah, got a good shape, I'm training very hard trying to enter special forces in the army, but that's cool! Yeah, I realize the thread is very old but I think it's important to actualize the topics with 08 reality. Maybe someone else looking on this articles and didn't choose tu buy PR's because of it's content. I think I'd bring a new spot light in a dark zone! Tongue Ok, have a nice day!

Hi Jo, I've got my FlyJumpers for about 6 weeks and I sold up my car! I'm only using my PR's for all my deplacement. I'm living at 3 miles from my work, and I'm doing it twice a day. Usually, I'm covering about 80 miles per week including all except the 15 hours of gym training with PR's. I'm in really good shape, and I'm able to run at an average of 15 mph all 3 miles long. The longest distance I've done was 15 miles and it tooks my 1h30, so 10 mph average (not that bad)! Surelly it's possible to walk/run whit PR's for great distance, but's a lot harder on endurance. Wish you good luck!

Hi, this is very helpful articles, thanks everybody, but since the last post is in 2006, there's probably news on the market in 07 or 08. Finally, there's surelly someone who got upwings and can give us his opinion on it. I've got actullay fly jumper M60, and looking to got new springs to fit on it. I was thinking to go with 7's or powerskip ones, which one to choose ? Are they both easy to fit or one is easier than the other? I live in Canada, do someone can help me to got one from europe and put me in touch with a dealer or something like this please?
Thanks Guillaume
36  Everything Else / Website Suggestions / Re: Website Suggestion on: July 01, 2008, 05:10:25 PM
Yeah, I think a location column may be very usefull, or a map where you can manually point your location, and a program can calculate the nearest member from your location or all member living at less than *** km or something like this. After, by PM, we can organize easilly something. If we want our sport to grown in popularity, we have to be in touch. I don't know how it's going in great citys like london or washington, but in here, we're only 2 buckers. When I go around, people asking me question about what I'm doing. If we start running with partners and practicing together, more and more people will be interested!  (That's what I think! )

This site is very hot, I'm learning very fast, thanks everybody! Only one thing's missing. We cannot search for members by location! I'm alone in here (Quebec, Canada) doing this. If I can search member by location, I can find the nearest buckers from my home and try practice with them, can be very usefull! Thanks in advance for considering this proposal,

38  Powerising / Learning Tips / Re: Flips? on: June 29, 2008, 02:13:22 AM
Hi, it's been about a month I've got my rizers, I'm the only one in here in québec, Canada to have some. I'd try to find some friend to practice with, but it's very hard. Whatever, for the flips, I'm being helped by a gym coatch and what he told me change everything. The principal error guys do is to try to go forward instead of trying to get height. (frontflip case) So here's the trick, you've got to lift yourself the higher you can than, and only than, throw your arms forward and get your knee touch your chest while downing your head. It'll flip by itself, when you're about 20 degrees from right, get your leg straight and you will land perfectly. In backflip case, you've got to jump as high as you can with your both hand very high, like if you want to grap a high bar, when you're at top, left off your knees and throw your head back, it'll turn easily! Try before on trampo, you'll see the difference.  (sorry for poor english, I usually speak french!)
