I am the same really, went for the cheap kind now wondering whether i want a new set of bocks or just springs....I think it really depends on what springs you want because some cost more than others. In this case, you could look on somewhere like pro-jump and if there not selling a pair of springs, see if you can make a deal on buying two springs for only a little bit more compared to buying one spring separately.

Like i said, depending on the spring you want, they could cost a lot, and this could mean that you might end up paying more for a new set of springs when all together your could have just bought a new pair of bocks. Some of my friends that live far from me have made the common mistake.

I'm not sure whether to tell you what to do because i'm not really too 'helpfull' on bocks so i'll let someone else suggest something (the more 'experienced' people.

Yeah, i have a trampoline in my back garden, i persuaded my dad to get me a net to be on the safe side Wink.
Ooh cheers for that! I think i might go out in a bit, and have a bit of a practise. It's the late turning bit which i can't master yet. I'm trying to get my sister for a bit of help because she was a gymnast, and she's the one that taught me the front flip really well. I can't ask her now because she won't talk to me Grin, so i'll try in a few mintues or so.

Cheers coach, couldn't answer the question better myself!
4  Powerising / Problems / Re: I don't want to be a bock, I want to be a mouse! on: May 13, 2008, 06:32:27 PM
To me, WD40 works great! I found a few weeks ago that my bocks were squeaking and that i had to squirt some wd40 on the joints like people have already said. Now i have no squeaking at all, but it took quite a few squirts though but should be no problem! So now i do it a bit more regular to save me time Cheesy.

I've been meaning to try a front flip 180, but don't get how to twist....I've searched high and low for the best step by step method to doing this. So far i've come to a lot on Youtube, but none of them seem to help me out :S. Anybody?

11  Powerising / Problems / Re: Top of spring bruising hamstring. Adjustments possible? on: May 10, 2008, 03:59:11 PM
I'm small to! I have the same problem with the spring hitting my leg, but i've never had such problems either. So far all i have is flip-flops to lift me up a bit, and like most people have said,i have added foam onto the top where it hits my leg. I am still not tall enough though, but there is less contact between my and the spring end, but if there is contact it doesn't hurt anymore. I'm still growing....(I think) so i'll just have to be patient.
Hope thoes bruises clear up soon!

Thats WAS a definate warning Tongue.
Haha, thanks very much, and indeed i was Grin.
You shouldn't be sorry for a long post!  I am most grateful! thanks very much! I actually learnt a lot in that post and that has given more confidence because i know what to do now and what not to. I love to listen to music on the trampoline, this was i can feel the beat of a song, and when i'm ready, i'll go from something i want to try out. Most people have told me to learn the 180 frontflip, but i'm not quite sure how to do that yet. I'll see what i can do Grin

Thanks very much! Smiley
