I figured that i need a wider spacer but I'm not sure how to make one with the right measurements. I saw my friends powerisers and the hoof frames had been bent inwards and been worn down by the brass washers.

Well if you want the Powerisers to last longer is it better to fix that problem. It's not so difficult to add an extra washer, just make sure that all the parts are put back together in the way they were before.
Start with taking all the parts that are bent and bend them straight again (if you have parts that are bent) When that's done find all the gaps that needs to be filled and add extra washers. Put everything back together, add lubricant and you're done. If you don't have extra washers or rubber rings can you easily buy then from stores.
Just don't tighten all the bolts and mutters too hard to make your risers stiff.

Absolut!

does typing dxdiag into run help you find out what whatever ur on about is called? and well u need to say what u want a driver for.(grafics card etc.)
The problem is already solved but that was something i will need in the near future, thanks for sharing the tip! I thought the drivers were already installed so why did you need to look for them if you dont mind me asking? Nope, there were unrecognized parts that windows couldn't install. Both the network and sound card i was looking for are both built in on the motherboard, i should have been clear with that so what i was looking for is a way to find out what drivers you need for the cards that are built onto the motherboard. And as i said above is everything solved, i found a program that shows you what brand the motherboard has, and what product number it has and the details. From there i could just look for drivers on a-bit's site by searching for the product number which lead me to the drivers i was searching for. Thanks for all your help

"mobo specs" ?.........
I once had a program that checked on what components your pc contained, even without installing drivers to them, but i lost the damn thing. I've done drivers guide and google, believe me.
EDIT:
Got it all fixed, i had to check out the motherboards product number and so on.
Thanks for the help

I never claimed that i even had the names of the drivers so i can google them. That's my problem, not the BIOS. I'm currently looking at device manager and see just temporarily names for the component like Ethernet Controller.
Sorry for not being so clear.

Hey everyone, the title kinda explains it all. My friend has a pc that needs drivers but i have no idea how to search for the right drivers for it. There is a sound card and LAN port installed on the motherboard but i have no idea where to find them.
All i know is that mothercard's name is A-bit CI7
I hope someone here is handy with pc's here.
