391  Powerising / Problems / Re: PoweriZer's really hurt my knees on: May 02, 2007, 04:54:32 PM
hey everyone thanks for all the tips!  one thing I havn't been doing is warming up or stretching.  I'm gunna start doing that.

Pendragon, what sort of pain is it?

Like bruising or aching etc.

I have jumpers knee (osgood schlatter or however its spelt) and my Pro Jumps actually help this as it relieves the stress on impact. However without knee pads the bars do hurt and can bruise the inside of my knee slightly, but this is no problem.

I can make the pain hurt if I flex my leg all the way out like doing a leg extension and flexing it and I feel a pain right below my knee cap.  It's not bruising from the knee bar.  I have really big skateboarding knee pads I put on to fill up the knee bar.

yesterday I was messing with the foot pad and the knee bar.   I lowerd the knee bar and rotated the foot pad down thinking it would be less stress on my knee or something.  All that did was making me want to lift my toes and feel like I'm falling forward.  So I just put em back, level.  When I was messing with that my right leg felt like it was being forced to the right when I would stand on it.  I thought I bent them or something but I just went back and adjusted the side screws.  I could probly still straighten them out a lil more.

Anyone else have pain in your knees from bocking?  I've never had these problems on a trampoline although I havn't been on a trampoline in a while then again I can bounce off of my toes and not my heels.  I'm fairly new as I just started in the fall last year.

Do I just need to take a break and heal up and pick it back up later?  I'm about to order the new '07 powerisers, As I hear the PoweriZers are the bottom of the barrel.

anyone go from PowerZers to Powerisers?  I'm seriously thinking of selling my m70's for a pair of these new '07 7090's.  I've just started last fall so I'm still kinda new but I think I'm progressing really fast and I don't want to be limited.

It seems like my knees take a lot of strain from just bouncing around. I have this pain right under my knee cap for a couple days after using em. It takes a huge amount of energy to just get a little bounce out of em.  I'm just under the weight range for my m70's.  anyone else have this problem?

Just looking to see if anyone in the area has stilts and wanna get together.  I'm in Royal Oak, Michigan.  I saw someone from a yahoo group used to bounce around the area but that was 2 years ago... who knows if he's still around.

I'm just starting out so It would be awsome if someone had experiance that they could share.

hey where can you get these Calf Cuffs?  do you have to buy all new powerisers to get these or can you get em separate?

I got some m70's last fall... now I'm starting to really get on them for this summer and it seems like it takes a ton of energy just to get a few bounces out of em.  I go around the block once and I'm completly wiped out.  I way about 63kg's  I'm right at the bottom of the weight range.  Should I be having this hard of a time getting these things to bounce?
