I've had a bad back/neck for a few weeks now. I keep getting on my bocks and running around even though I only get to 99% and aggravate it back to 70%. see a doc if it's hard to do normal activities.
Take that time off and ice it. I think Ice is your friend. heat is for the hot tub.
well thank you for the quick reply, and by not alot of money to screw around with, I meant that I dont want to buy a pair that doesnt work and have to buy yet another pair to see what works better... but what is quid and pounds?? Im from the us, and to tell you the truth I hate it.. its so hard to talk to other countries because we dont use metric or pounds.. thank you again. ~Casey
90% of this community is from a different country. I would suggest getting used to converting stuff in your head.
Yeah I've had a trampoline when I lived at home. As soon as I put bocks on it threw me for a loop when I first starting trying flips. The extra weight is just takes that much more effort. I had about 4 gym sessions practicing the front flips so this isn't the first time I've tried em. it's more like the 200th flip attempt and 4th time I've landed it. 1st one on youtube (so it's official now) and 1st go with my skip springs.
Very nice man. I knew you would get them super quick. Good thing i suggested you video tape it. Now all we have to do is figure out a way to secure the matress so you can keep practicing. The only way I've thought up it get a big peice of wood, rough it up so that the matress cant slide on it and then jump on that.
The top of the matress has this felt stuff on it. I wounder if I turned upside down if it would hold better.
It was really comfy when I rolled on it but since never landing on the matress I'm really ok with practicing on the grass now. It was solid but there's no scrapes or bruises. And all those gyms that turned me down! HAHA SUck it! well untill I gotta learn the back tuck.
Well I gave it a whirl today and it didn't damage the bed. just left some dirt on it. It was basically useless by itself as it slid away when I would land on it. The ground broke my fall nicely though.
Its only enough if you think its enough, its your body dude. Personally I would take 2, just incase of a breakage and just for moral support. If you try anything Pen, be sure to video tape it, never know, you may land your first flip.
Yeah I'll tape it. I've landed my first front flip in a gym. They had 2 foot thick crash mats though. I should be alright as long as I don't land flat on my back.
matresses are bad. They have big metal springs in them that would nicely dig into your body
You want at least 2 inflateable airbeds on top of each other. Cheap from argos or ebay. Dont inflate them too hard. I'd say about 80-90% full. They need to give a little when you land on them and not go pop - though I've not popped one yet.
You think one is enough? I might give this a whirl tonight.
Hey I don't know if this is my email program's fault but when I get a notification in my email about a new post on a topic. There's 2 links one is "View the reply at" bla bla bla and the other is to Unsubscribe. The Unsubscribe is an click able link but the one to read the reply is not click able. So that means it takes 3 more steps(highlight, copy, open browser, open tab, paste, enter, wait) to look at the post instead of one easy simple relaxing click.
Maybe it's a hotmail thing? It's also un click able through the web interface.
Maybe it's a PoweriserPages thing?
I just switched which email service I use with Poweriserpages and it fixed the unclickable link in the email. I had hotmail now I use my gmail. So it was something with hotmail that was not happy with it.
My knees hurt when I first started too. My back hurt too. You know what my everything hurt like it never hurt before. Just give it some time before you get back out there.
"You first" works really well. not offensive and gets you out of it, unless they actually do a back flip, then yar screwed.
I once ran into this. I was up on a park less than five minutes from my house, this guy came up to me and knew kinda what they were. Then he was like "ok flip now", i was like "only when you do", and he went" alright" and did a it of a run, and did a front flip. Came back and said "ok, your turn" and i was =O and ran off without another word
In this case you have 1.5 options. There's also a variable. When someone knows what they are talkin about you might wanna opt out of the "you first" come back, and just say 'I'm workin on it." When someone out of the corner of your eye says "do a flip" you yell in their general direction "You First!"
The other ".75" option is when your talking to someone that knows how to channel surf, like no ones business, is to just suck it up and go for it.
