Powerising / Videos / Re: Practicing Jumping Stairs

Maybe try going up and out from the stairs instead of just out. You'll be coming down from a higher point like set of bigger steps. Try to bounce out of your landing and gain more height that way.
oh! one more thing. If you get your legs together more you'll push straight down on your springs instead of on an angle and you won't lose that little bit of energy. It'll make jumping easier too.

I had my 7090's as long as you have and found them extremely stiff. Or at least it took a hell of a lot of effort compared to my new skips. I'm also 25lbs less than you. and I switched brands although I'm sure my 7090's are still good/functional.
If your dominating your 7090's maybe you wanna look at something higher up the weight chain. I know my next pair is going to be some 7's, maybe T's or R's.

With no previous bocking experiance Vladislav is able to rock the socks with the Upwings, although he has acrobatic experiance, I'm sure he'd do well with any brand.
I've tried em as well, they were painful. Maybe they need some tweaking, maybe some Vlad. I remember they were very solid, even more solid than Henry's Velocity stilts. Henry's stilts did a lap around NYC and have been through his training regiment many times, before I gave em a whirl, the Upwings were safely tucked away in a case.

oh yeah. I haven't heard anything in a little while. I thought the U.S. had finally gotten a hold of you guys. I'm thinking about hitting up Ann Arbor May 2nd, 3rd.

The U.S. tends to do that. Someone emailed me a little bit ago about coming to Ann Arbor that lived in the Chicago area. I'll see if I can get ahold of them again.
Chicago would be an awesome place to bock.

Well it's been nearly a year since this post but I recently heard of someone in downtown Royal Oak with bocks doing some flips. Neighbors were coming to me and asking if I was there last Saturday. That's less than 4 miles from me. I guess I'll be there every Weekend with or without bocks to see if they show up again. oh well.
If anyone is going to be in town (Michigan, Ohio, Chicago). I can easily make it to those places on a weekend.

Powerising / Videos / Re: Air Matress Practice

Just an update. My air matress was inflated for about a week before I tried jumping onto it. It lost a little bit of air since then. it was about 80- 90% filled at the time of the video. Since the day I jumped on it it's lost about 50% of it's air so it's down to 30ish%. So I definatly did some damage to it over the last 2 days. I'm sure it'll still fuction as a matress if filled before sleeping on.
Watching your own video's helps pick up on all those little things. I noticed in this video I'm hardly compressing my springs. maybe 50-70%??? I have a lot more potential to tap.
I also re-agrivated my back since that other time. Not nearly as bad but definatly agrivating. I'm gunna take a couple solid weeks off and see a different doctor.

I've had a bad back/neck for a few weeks now. I keep getting on my bocks and running around even though I only get to 99% and aggravate it back to 70%. see a doc if it's hard to do normal activities.
Take that time off and ice it. I think Ice is your friend. heat is for the hot tub.
