It's OK to embed a link or give a complete URL.  If you were spamming, we'd know.  No spam-hunting  bots here, just XarnuSonci.

Do you have the final word on Sprog?

The fonts are normal until I sign in, but then most of the text on the page gets big.  My eyes are plenty good enough to see the normal text, so this is just taking up a whole lot of space and it gets on my nerves.  I'm not sure why, it just does.

I think some of them are getting bigger...  IS THE WEBSITE GOING TO XPLODE?

Edit: My screen went blank after posting that too, had to X out and come back.
Edit 2: does the same thing after editing.

You screwed your links up.   Both of those are my easy downhill.  Thanks for the tip, though.

Oh, downhill's even easier than that.
too easy

New hacked level. Seasaw
Just found another, this one is easy. Downhill
98  Everything Else / General Talk / Re: Most Addicting Game on: September 19, 2008, 07:03:48 AM
Very good, very elegant and fast too.  Here's my speed attempt: Reel & Climb
And just to be different and weird, I made this: Spider Pig.  I wish I could give it four feet, but there is only enough room to make three that work.  Three feet seem to be just too heavy to work without the fourth.

Oh yeah, and a proof of concept on the weakness of very short chain links: the Weakest Link

frank, you're not the one hacking these lavels are you?

...but whoever it is needs to make hgarder ones
I wish I knew how!  This is just what I find.  You can find normal player-made maps on youtube, and some of them are really hard.

New hacked level: Bridge the gap filed under Up the Hump other players' solutions

Tube is usually done by taking advantage of the slight bulge on the right side of the bottom of the tube.  You can use that as something for your climber to get its initial traction on, but once it hits the bulge it will have to rely on its own shape to push the wheels into the walls.  The level can be done with just one wheel in each direction and one wood rod.  You can also make your wheels wrap themselves up in wood chains to effectively increase their diameter.  One layer is enough.

And yes, it can also be solved with a catapult, but I have only ever seen one.

i finally have a cool and quick solution to u turn here is is http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=1751838

So I took a look at this and said hey, if the chain was shorter it would swing around a little faster and cleaner.  If you could do this intentionally you could have the most powerful launcher out there.
http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=1756153

The deal with the breaking chain is that shorter links glitch and break apart easier.  And the throwing arm is a little more complicated than necessary and that probably adds to the weight.  If you wanna make the chain shorter, reduce the number of links or it will get fragile.
Not sure if this is noticeably faster, but it has a shortened chain that doesn't break.  A really fine chain isn't really necessary for this anyway. Fixed Sling

And abusing the slight elasticity of the rods rather than getting into trouble with it it, I've got a whole new kind of walker.  A bit like the bock, but much refined. the Gazelle

Also, someone hacked the system and posted this new level under Mission to Mars.  No clue how he did it, feel free to copy and enjoy.
102  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Illegal skyrunners on: September 17, 2008, 07:11:38 PM
I've seen pictures here and there on Skyrunner websites of some run where they made the bindings yellow with a bit of blue, the covers for the support rods were blue, and the calf pads were yellow.  I think the hooves were white too.  The bindings and calf pad were conventionally shaped for Skyrunner, but someone who didn't know better could mistake them for the stilts they see the pros on on Youtube.  Since they get called Powerskips by some vendors anyway, why not look the part?  The similarity could not have been coincidental.

I've been thinking about it...  Almost don't want to admit it.
104  Purchasing Powerisers / Choosing the Right Model / Re: Illegal skyrunners on: September 17, 2008, 05:29:33 PM
Skyrunners have copied every brand out there.  They've even sold ones with a color scheme that tries to imitate Powerskips.

Yeah.  You have to drill out a bit of the frame near the top spring bracket.
